Dole is a wonderful understated place to explore in gem of a region of hidden France. Hotel de la Cloche is a great springboard.
Friendly staff and a fantastic location make this a must for any visitors to Dole.
I would heartily recommend it.
The weather was marvelous and the staff guided me to great resto choices; L’ Atelier…and Da Vincy!

Convenient stop on way to Alps
Overnight stay in beautiful city of Dole. Room basic but clean with integral shower room (module type). Very convenient for trip to the Alps from England.
Friendly with bar, and easy walk into town centre. On street parking have to pay after 8pm.

We couldn’t check in because it was 13.50 and check in time was 14.00. So if we could please have a drink somewhere.
Bathroom was claustrophobic. Felt if i was in a toilet from a airplane
