Attended a family wedding here and unfortunately a plant pot outside was broken, we informed the staff and offered to pay for it but were left feeling very unwelcome by a member of staff. Accidents happen, a little understanding from the staff would have been appreciated. We were ment to stay the night but left early after how one member of staff delt with this incident. As we were part of the bridal party we did not expect to be treated so negatively over something as small as a plant pot. We went out of our way to inform the staff and apologise and how we were treated after this was disgusting.

My husband and I dropped in for the High Tea and were delighted we were able to get a table. Some restaurants doing High Tea require you to book but we were warmly welcomed without a booking. The food was lovely (steak pie and fish and chips). Plenty of toast, tea, cakes and scones. The scones in particular were delicious. The views are amazing and the service from Scott and Alesha was excellent. Attentive and friendly. We enjoyed it so much, we are likely to eat here again during our 3 night stay in Upper Largo.

I paid £148 for B&B staying Saturday and was looking forward to a stay at what's assessed as a 4* hotel. Staff were all friendly and helpful and hotel décor is nice. Room was a good size, with desk, easy chair, walk-in wardrobe and classy looking matching side tables in an burr wood veneer. I dare say the hotel has rooms overlooking the beach, however mine wasn't one of these and it overlooked the kitchen ventilators. The sight wasn't good and the droning sound starting at 7am on Sunday was even worse. Oddly there was a split unit air conditioner mounted on the wall but no sign of a remote control or instructions on how to operate, so opening the windows was the only option even with the drone from the kitchen vents. Dinner and breakfast are served in a conservatory looking out over the water, which gives a nice backdrop while eating. I didn't think I was over-taxing chef by going for fish and chips but it was at best mediocre. Chips were soft and the peas were hard, I could have done better myself at home. Breakfast was OK, you order what you want rather than choosing from a buffet. If you have a room with sea view and well prepared dinner, you'd likely be happy with this hotel, but I can only speak as a find.

First class service, very thoughtful staff the hotel went above and beyond. Food was excellent. The hotel is under new management and it was a great experience. As it was for a birthday the hotel provided a small cake and gave the birthday girl a complimentary drink!

Definitely do not want passing trade . Tried to get lunch at 11.30 was told no by chef so requested breakfast as per menu in foyer . They came with a breakfast menu but so expensive. We left . We were made to feel nog good enough. Won't be back . Disappointing after seeing it in TV . Even offer of a coffee would have been good

Nestled in Lundin Links, the Old Manor Hotel is a charming property with a picturesque setting. However, its potential was marred by a series of minor shortcomings during our recent stay. As we arrived at the hotel, we noticed that the property appeared somewhat "underwhelming" and not the luxury experience mentioned by other reviews. The staff, though polite, were unable to make up for the slow service that characterized our time there. Our room was modern but had a few issues. The lighting was inadequate, creating a dim atmosphere, and there was a noticeable presence of a small amount of mold around the bath, raising concerns about cleanliness. To add to these problems, the remote control for the TV was missing, and the wooden balcony, which could have been a lovely feature, had limited light due to the surrounding trees and a noticeable lack of cleanliness. Despite these problems, we did enjoy the breathtaking views and reasonably priced drinks during a quiet afternoon spent relaxing and soaking in the beautiful scenery. The stunning vistas from the restaurant were a particular highlight, setting the scene for an enjoyable dinner. The steaks were absolutely delicious, but, once again, the service proved to be slow. Breakfast was another disappointment, as the vegetarian haggis advertised on the menu was unavailable for the vegetarian breakfast option – a detail only communicated to me when the meal was served. Similarly, the standard breakfast lacked bacon. In summary, the Old Manor Hotel in Lundin Links offers a spectacular setting and delightful views, but many small problems ultimately spoiled our stay. From the tired decor to the numerous issues with my room and the lack of communication regarding breakfast options, the hotel failed to meet our expectations. While the delicious steaks and picturesque vistas were noteworthy, they were not enough to redeem the overall experience.

A group of ladies from Glasgow came up to Fife for the day and had booked a High Tea at your hotel. I suggested it as I now live in Fife and am about 15 minutes away from it. The food was all preordered but took some time to come out. Steak pie first then fish and chip, scampi and chips, chicken then finally the chefs salad except mine as they must have not calculated properly. The salad consisted of lettuce, very finely chopped pepper and red onion, half a cherry tomato and a slice of ham on top in a bowl. The salad eaters were very disappointed as we had been here two years ago and we got a big plate of salad, coleslaw, chicken, ham and other veg. The sweet tray was very nice along with the scones. I had been in the week before to let them know I was gluten free but on the day my plate was given to someone else so had to wait again for mine. Overall a lovely place to eat as you have beautiful views across the firth.

Food was at best average and very expensive. I had a more enjoyable scampi and chips at a Morrisons cafe the next day. Chips were hard and not very nice at all. Nice scenery and staff were pleasant. We went for lunch and were the only diners in at that time. Possibly more atmospheric in the evening when busier.

Had lunch with 4 friends (one wheelchair bound), yesterday. From the moment we arrived at reception until our meal was finished, the service and attention to detail was excellent, without being overbearing. The food was delicious and very reasonable. This was our first visit and can't wait for the next. Won't hesitate to thoroughly recommend.
