Cheetah Ridge Lodge

Loved the lodge- absolutely beautiful rooms, loved having a fireplace lit every night when we got back from the game drive. The staff was amazing- so friendly, polite and professional. Game drives were so fun, we got to see everything we wanted: cheetah, lions, elephants, giraffes, zebra etc The Food was absolutely top notch- such great quality and delicious. I would have loved if the menu rotated as we had dietary restrictions and therefore had a limited menu which stayed the same throughout our 3 nights there. Our bartenders were stand out- they made every cocktail you could think of and even created ones suited to our tastes! Would definitely recommend!

Accommodation, meals, staff and game drives are first class. A very special place. Three nights were not enough. A perfect place to experience the best of South Africa.

We stayed in the farm house. Was an amazing experience. The staff are so friendly. Mlu our guide got us up close with so many animals. The staff went out of their way to make every part of the stay exceptional! Highly recommend staying here.

From the moment we were collected from the guest parking lot until the time we were taken back to our car when it was time to leave Nambiti - our experience was incredible. The staff were so attentive. We were always received with a smile and warm welcome. The food was fantastic and so were the mocktails the bar staff so kindly created for our teenagers. The rooms are exquisite - attention to detail and completely luxurious. Our Game Driver for the 2 days there, Cayde, was knowledgeable and so easy to chat to. He went out of his way to get as much in for the kids (and us) as possible. He genuinely wanted us to have an amazing, memorable experience. Thank you to everyone at Cheetah Ridge Lodge for making my family's getaway so very special!

The family farmhouse was absolutely perfect for us. We loved the cosy fires and warm towels Clinton would prepare for us, the breakfast and warm drinks post game drive and the space to relax and unwind outside. Every game drive was so special, Cayde went out of his way to show us the big 5 which we really enjoyed and learnt so much from. Cannot recommend Cheetah Ridge enough and thank you to Cayde and Clinton for the exceptional service and taking care of us throughout our stay.

Thank you all for the birthday wishes - each and every one was appreciated. It was a weekend of spoils and an unforgettable one at that. A first time experience at the unforgettable Cheetah Ridge Lodge. I could wax lyrical about this experience for hours, but I will try and limit it to the basics. The service and attention to detail was second to none. A birthday bottle of champagne and a card in the room. Fireplace lit very evening to warm the room on very cold nights. A weather report for the following day left on your bed at night. It was amazing to fall asleep listening to jackals calling in the reserve and a hippo grunting in the dam 20 metres from the room. There were so many stars in this show but a few deserve a special mention. Sphe and Clarence. These guys kept our glasses full and were wonderful to talk to. Espresso martinis to die for, Pina Coladas, fancy gin and tonics. These guys do it all. The kitchen doesn't have chefs, it has Harry Potter and a tribe of Wizards. The food that they produced was beautifully presented, and of a quality that I have seldom experienced in my life. A culinary masterpiece from start to finish! We did at times manage to drag ourselves away from the dining room and bar, and were treated to some amazing sightings on the reserve. Elephant bulls hustling with a crashing of tusks, cheetah brothers scent marking and eyeing out some nervous hartebees. I have been extremely privileged in my life to visit some amazing reserves, and in the process have met some amazing guides. Cheetah Ridge Lodge have an amazing guide in the form of Les Harris. The most humble, present, quiet, knowledgeable guide with an incredible sense of timing, and a real listener's ear. Les, we so enjoyed the short amount of time we spent with you, both on the vehicle and around the bar. You are a huge credit to your family, your lodge and your profession. We look forward to meeting you again, wherever that may be.
