Decent Stay If You Know What You’re Getting Into For the price, Voco Laguna isn’t a bad option - just set your expectations accordingly. The hotel has been remodeled, and while there are some nice updates, certain details feel a bit overlooked. It’s kind of a “lipstick on a pig” situation - clean and fresh in parts, but still showing its age in others. The window A/C units are definitely a throwback, and if you’re a light sleeper, bring earplugs. Ours rattled like an old fan on overdrive, which made for a noisy night. The restaurant was totally fine - reasonably priced and convenient, just don’t expect a five-star culinary experience. What really stood out was the friendly and helpful staff - everyone we interacted with was warm and accommodating. All in all, if you’re flexible and appreciate a good location at a fair price, Voco Laguna does the job. Just come prepared for a bit of vintage charm… and maybe some ambient white noise.

Great one in this area but remember don’t take the room face the highway side. The room face to hotel pool is wonderful! The room is clean and hotel staff very nice and kind. I stayed the hotel 5 nights, it was a delightful experience. They assigned a room face the highway side which is very uncomfortable, I feel the room was shaky while the car passed by. I request change a room. The front office staff helped me immediately. The room face the swimming pool is wonderful. The hotel location is very convenient. I will choose here again if I visit Irvine next time.

As others have stated the hotel has been renovated. It clean, neat & feels updated. The staff are nice & welcoming. It was a pleasant stay. Now my nitpicking: 1) Charging for parking....really? They have their own parking lot. Just nickel & diming. 2) Electrical outlets anywhere near the bed. I use a CPap machine & oxygen concentrator when I sleep. Had to call down for an extension cord that was strung across the room. Not safe. 3) Internet. Their internet sucks. It was so bad that their hundreds of streaming channels were useless. Tried to watch a channel & it would freeze. My iPhone & laptop were unusable.

The bed was so comfortable and allowed us to sleep soundly . The breakfast was sumptuous and the hotel is conveniently located and with easy access to the freeway and shopping area

All.the personnel are knowledgeable land very respectful. The management is great. I will definitely recommend this hotel.

This cute little boutique hotel has some real great potential. It is undergoing a remodel and it's looking really great! Nice, newly remodeled rooms, A gym, restaurant/Bar-lounge and excellent service. It also has a large pool and hot tub as well. Excellent for business travelers and anyone who enjoys a cozy quaint hotel that is a home away from home.
