This place is an amazingly beautiful location and does everything to ensure their guests comfort and accommodation. Their restuarant has many gluten free options including a wonderful fish & chips! Staff is friendly and rooms were well appointed. Will definitely be back!

A beautiful spot to have some luxury and perfect for bringing your pooch. Wow factor views, seals entertaining us in the bay and a very comfortable room to relax and rest up a wider tour of the north west of Scotland.

An incredible hotel in an incredible location, the views were breathtaking. The restaurant served fantastic food. Our room was beautiful other than a few tiny thing which didn’t take away from a fabulous stay. Absolutely gorgeous place that I really hope to return to.

The hotel is in an amazing setting, with beautiful views along the loch. The staff were friendly, and there were plenty of options available on the menu. Had a really tasty fish and chips which was very well cooked, and a gorgeous crusted salmon. Well worth the stop.

The sea food was top class in the restaurant, and the staff were very friendly and professional. The room was large with a lovely bathroom and very clean. We were disappointed that we didn’t get the sea view we were promised

Staying at this hotel was very disappointing. It isn’t cheap so I really feel I cannot give a higher star if you consider the price - value ratio . First we arrived at 3:54 and after ringing the bell at reception four times someone finally showed up and shouted at me saying that we couldn’t check in until 4 !!I I was a bit taken back - there was no hello or offer of a tea in the small waiting area so I went over the road to the gift store and came back at about 4:10. This time a slightly more pleasant man called Lee was at the desk, but he told us we would have to wait another 10 minutes for our room. ( no offer of a drink or anything) We finally got into our rooms at about 4:25. The room was freezing . After about 30 minutes, we noticed the heat had been turned off . We turned it on but after an hour we were still wearing our coats in the room . We decided to go to the dining room and have our welcome drink and then have our meal . We had originally booked our meal for 7pm but at check in Lee told us there was no problem going early . I asked at the dining room if we could reserve at window table for dinner. I was told that the restaurant did not reserve tables and it was first come first serve for the tables . ( I do wonder how the the birthday table of 8 got seated together by the window ) I then decided to sit down at a table with a view and have my drink at the table then just continue with dinner . When I did this I was then again shouted at . I was told that they needed the table for dinner ( it was 6:30pm) and since I had a reservation for 7:30 I could not sit there . I told them my meal was going to be at 7pm and I was allowed to stay . Meanwhile my husband finally arrived . The reason he was so late was he couldn’t lock our room. The supervisor went to the room with him and he could not lock the door either . He said he would get another key. We had our drinks and then asked for the menu . We ordered the special and just a couple minutes later were told there was only one special left . I was very angry about this and told the waitress that we were having a very bad experience and right now didn’t even have a locked room. The supervisor then told me that there was no reason to worry about the room not being locked as this was Scotland and nothing would happen. Sorry this may be true but I deserve a key to a hotel room !! Finally a key came and the chef found an extra special . Our terrible first night didn’t end there as when we got back to the room at 9 pm the room was still only about 10 degrees . I went back again and got the supervisor and he came back and told us that the room would heat up soon. He did turn the towel rail on in the bathroom . He said the cleaners were Scottish and don’t turn the heat on as they don’t find it cold . I find this type of comment totally unprofessional. The room was still freezing and as I suffer from acute rheumatoid arthritis, I was very worried . Luckily there was another bed i

Don't get scammed by the website. The rooms are not at all what they seem and are definitely not worth the high prices they charge. Our "stunning view" from one of the best, most expensive rooms was one of the public restrooms. Plus we realized while staying there with our group that they turn off the heat during the day and overnight. Yes, in Scotland! Then were rude about it when questioned as to why. Do yourself a favor and drive 15 minutes further north to an actual stunning and charming location to stay.

Together with my father we visited this hotel on 2 motorcycles. The hotel is located directly on Loch Gleann Dubh, which is a real feast for the eyes when looking out of the room, at breakfast and at dinner. We really enjoyed this view and the excellent food. The rooms were small, well equipped, clean and perfect for us. Even though we only spent one night here, we really enjoyed our stay. I would gladly come back again if the journey (from Germany) wasn't so far. Thank you very much for this great spot on earth, with this great accommodation combined with excellent food.
