This place was wonderful! The bed was the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. It was very quiet and peaceful. If I’m ever in the area again, I will stay here again. It was very quaint and felt very small town. The owner was so great and left me her number if I needed anything. I highly recommend this place.

Love a good boutique hotel and especially in a quiet spot! The Bank Hotel checks all the boxes and more! Roomy, cozy and cool bank lobby retaining the original story of the building…love the esthetic bringing in Louisiana stylings and nature too! Each room is unique and private. But there’s awesome gathering spaces too like the balcony and the lobby!

small Hotel with lots of Caracter, specious and clean rooms. People are very attend full and nothing is to much. correct pricing for what you get. Good restaurant and bar in walking distance. when i pass in the future i definitely stay here again.

This is our 3rd or 4th stay here. Unique modern conversion of a Bank in a delightful small town on a long natural lake. The area is crammed with marsh & swamp wildlife & is near large conservation sites in the fresh & salt marshes. Large live oaks & bald cypress cover ridges along bayous. There are two wonderful restaurants in the neighborhood, with several others a short drive. This oasis is less that 15” from IH10, b/t Houston & New Orleans. A large lakeside park is very near, a 3” walk. There isn’t a lot of excitement here, but weekends have live Cajun or Zydeco bands at the nearby park. Bring your boat; a small marina with canal access to the chain of lakes is less than 3 blocks from the hotel. A very nice over-water bistro is 2 blocks. We love this for a “get-away”, or a nice refreshing pit-stop during a long drive.

We stayed one night while passing through, but would gladly have stayed for longer. This is a lovely place, welcoming, clean, comfortable and beautifully designed. The staff was welcoming, the room had everything we needed and more, the place itself was charming. It's located along a very small-town main street, with an easy walk to the lake park and a good seafood restaurant. You get a nice taste of back-roads Louisiana. Could not have asked for a better driving break and treat.

5 stars are hardly enough! So many surprising perks and attention to detail. My mother has advanced dementia and we made a final visit to her home on Bayou Teche to spread my dads ashes. I hoped to find a room that was unique and made her feel special, and this room exceeded my expectations. This will more than likely be my mothers last overnight outing and we made memories I will cherish forever.

Sur notre étape entre Houston et la Nouvelle Orléans. Pas grand chose à voir dans les environs mais l'hôtel était propre et bien pour cette nuit d'étape. Accueil très chaleureux. Facile à trouver et une petite balade à pied vers le lac Arthur le soir avant d'aller se coucher.
