Lake Boga Caravan Park

Great location right on the lake, the room was compact but excellent for 2 people . It was ideal as a base.we will definitely stay there again

An overnight stay was unfortunately not what we expected. The location on Lake Boga you would imagine would be restful and relaxing...however the road noise was so intrusive. B-double trucks roaring past, literally only metres from our site, until late at night and began again in the early hours. Trying to sleep through it was impossible. Also trucks parked on the side of the road, with refrigeration idling for nearly 2 hours. I understand this is totally out of the parks control but needed to be mentioned to those thinking it will be peaceful by the lake. The park and amenities were clean however trying to have a shower with the shower head falling down was somewhat of a challenge. Sorry, but we would never go back and would not recommend it if you're looking for a quiet, restful place to stay.

A really lovely modern, spotlessly clean studio room with ensuite. Covered verandah with table setting. Only a few metres from the lakes edge. Gorgeous sunsets, watch the birds glide by. Made welcome by the gracious host Jennifer. I’ll certainly rebook again.

A quick Weekender away with the family. The communication with the staff at the caravan park was Great. They accommodated for a late night check-in & had the cabin all ready to go (even the aircon on). The cabin itself was a bit on the small side but for the 3 of us (2 Adults & 1 Teenager) it was fine. It does sleep up to 6 people, but i feel that would be a real struggle for room. The beds were comfortable & clean. They are a fully contained cabin with all the normal cooking facilities but not all of the cooking stuff that you would normally have. Simple things missing like a dish rack & some pots to cook in. The bathroom was small & i do mean small. you would struggle with any more than 1 person in it at any one time. Limited bench space (just big enough for a toothbrush & toothpaste). The kitchen & living area were nice & have been somewhat updated recently. The TV's wer set way too high up & no longer fitted the original space it was put in. No DVD or Internet Provided. No Smart TV's in the Cabin. No welcome pack in the Cabins of local attractions or where to eat. The couch was well used & stained badly. 1 hiccup with the small milk they provided (as it was already used), but rectified the next day. The grounds were nicely kept. There was areas for people to bring their pets. A nicely set up camp kitchen area & laundry. Plenty of toilet blocks around for the powered sites. A small toilet dump point onsite. It did have outdoor BBQ's available & a Jumping pillow for the kids (no other kid friendly equipment). Overall it was a nice caravan park right on the Lake. We would rate it as 3 out of 5 stars for a caravan park as it met our needs for a quick weekend away.

Great little caravan park. Ideal for us and our small furry friend. Facilities excellent. Close to the excellent Catzlina Museum. Passing trucks the only fly in the ointment. If you are a light sleeper it could spoil your stay.

Loved the lalke and the grounds. Accomodatoon good and clean. Only15 mins from swan hill

Unfortunately we were extremely disappointed with our stay. Apart from constant road noise and sirens/alarms, we were put on a site between two permanents, No grass, just dirt and very small, no room to park our vehicle.

The caravan park was spotless - extremely clean - the staff were fantastic - the price was cheap and economical and the toilets were extremely spotless - a beautiful place to just chill and enjoy the Lake and fishing - the park was not too big but that is how we like it - other people in the park were very nice - overall it was an extremely pleasing experience - there was kayak hire and the opportunity for water sports if you like that - there is a small shopping complex nearby with a pharmacy and post office - a really great stay and not far from Swan Hill for bigger purchases. We just loved it and will definately go again
