Was all good as I expected really no complaints other than I didn’t win anything. I’m not a gambler but I had to try right. Stayed there on business and would have preferred more food choices in house as we preferred not to have to go out. Will stay there in the future.

The resort fee per room per night was a surprise. Especially since right now all you get is the ******. Pool is still under construction.

The check-in process was extremely slow, and to make matters worse, housekeeping began knocking on the door around 10 a.m. on the day of check-out, making us feel rushed and unwelcome. It was a very disappointing stay.

Room was nice but the air conditioner was very loud and it got hot in the night. Worked fine in the day. Good coffee in room. The room was very clean and lots of room to move around. Staff was great.

I dont think we would stay there again: 1) I paid for lake view, I overlooked a roof and parking lot 2) we had to get someone to make the tv work 3) Ceiling light flickered 4) desk lamp would not work 5) Had we not caught the maids, we would have had no service, clean towels etc. Same thing happened to 2 of my friends. Horseshoe has advised ******* notified re a refund because of the wrong room

The hotel is lovely, staff were good too.
only problem we had was the pool was closed and we had to wait for the manager to return from a meeting as he had the ONLY key.

The toilet in the room woke me up 3 times with a horrible grinding noise..sounding like rocks in a blender.

The hotel had recently been refurbished and was done very nicely.The view was lovely of lake charles. The staff was very pleasant.The only thing missing was a diner for food.They only offered pizza, noodles, a pub and a fine dining restaurant.
