very good… we were here during rains, the weather was truly awesome. as we couldn’t go around for many points we had a lovely time in the hotel premises.. Food is tasty. staff is very cooperative.

Recently stayed at the Citrus Chambers Mahabaleshwar as part of my family vacation (Khandala / Mahabs). Citrus Chambers experience was below par especially given the premium price tag for the junior suite. 1) Primary let down was lackluster and cold response from the front desk staff as we arrived in the evening (no one even offered a welcome drink). I was told that my booking payment is outstanding..really would you hold the booking without a full payment ..after giving this expression it was double checked and accepted that full payment has been made in advance. 2) We were told that 5:30 PM onwards is the time for complimentary high tea; less said the better about this one. They were serving veg pakodas with tea / coffee and looks like it was on a strict rationing ...you don't expect this at a property which charges a premium 3) The restaurant furniture especially the chairs seems to never been cleaned since 10 years or more. You can clearly see the black stains on the backrests. 4) Our junior suite 3002 was supposed to come with a balcony. No one expects a shared balcony space with another room (literally no separation in between) 5) Live performance at the restaurant continues well past 10 pm (decibel levels no one cares) while it is right amidst the rooms / suites 6) The entrance pathway is totally broken due to rains and isn't paved properly Location is the only USP for this place as it is at a walkable distance from the main market. I loved my brief visit to Mahabs due to the weather and general vibe but would certainly consider staying at a different hotel next time maybe Courtyard or a Le Meridien. This was especially more disappointing after staying at Ikshana resort in Khandala for a lesser cost and much better experience.
