Taufua Beach Fales

We stayed in the airconditioned villas with our tour group for two nights. We had been informed that there is no hot water but still: why provide nice villas and no hot water? Our tour operator provided bath towels as they do not provide that either! Who has heard of a thing like that. Even cabins on a campground provide towels. Our toilet leaked water and that was quite disgusting. Sometimes one could only get a drizzle from the cold shower. The balcony was nice because it stayed in the shade for some time in the morning. It was fun sitting at a long table. The dinner food was quite good but I did not like breakfast. One of the most horrible toast breads I have ever had. The cocktail choice was limited. They did not have half of what was on the menu. The sea did not look inviting. We went to a lovely beach with good snorkeling with the tour. The best was the dancing show. That was a very enjoyable evening.

A great place to spend the day whilst enjoying the beach. The restaurant has good food as well. And the beach and water is very pristine. The road in between is fortunately not busy so can go across to use the washroom for changing. The fales sure make for a good day at the beach!

So glad we choose Taufua. We stayed in one of the a/c villas across the road. Spacious room with fabulous view from the balcony. Staff were very friendly. Loved the communal meals and chatting to other travellers. Food was good and plentiful. Would definitely stay again.

This was our first time staying at Taufua and it was exceptional! To anyone visiting Samoa, you must stay here! We sadly only had 2 nights but will definitely come back and stay for longer. If you are there on a Wednesday or Saturday, there is dancing which was a ton of fun. Additionally, all of the meals are served family style which was a great way to meet lots of other travelers not to mention the food was filling and delicious! Highly recommend this place for the unique experience and their hospitality!

Taufua is a beautiful place to stay. We stayed in two open fales right by the beach. The staff are lovely - we felt very fortunate we got to see several staff practising their dance. Berry is an amazing dancer, so skilled and graceful. And the cook was such a good dancer too! The food was really yum and in great abundance. The beach is lovely with clear water. Taufua also offers quite a range of accommodations to suit different needs. We will definitely be returning. I highly recommend Taufua. This was our first time in Samoa and Taufua gave us a great introduction to the beautiful beaches, culture and food.
