Great place to stay and relax, while also exploring the surrounding region. The staff were always available and happy to help with questions. They helped book us a last minute tour at the Caves Raposeira ~5 min drive away - a must-do! We also had dinner every night there, always 3 courses and lovely wine/port to accompany.

The stay exceeded our expectations! Wonderful place, service and food! The room was clean and tidy, with a view and very cozy. Fresh apples available in the room and water was a lovely addition. Swimming pool and parking slot available. And last but not least the breakfast and dinner - deserves more than 10 stars! Thanks a lot! Evgeniya

What a wonderful peaceful property. The drive towards the property is lined with grape arbors, opening to a very welcoming home. The staff and proprietor were friendly and helpful. The room was great and the views outstanding. A short 5 minute drive to central Lamego.

Excelent local accomodation. Cozy with pool with superb view of the mountains. The kindness of the crew and a lot of leisure activities possible made the experience something to repeat maybe now in the winter season.

We only spent two evenings here, but were sad to leave and hope to visit again. The staff was friendly. The room was impeccable... Great bed, linens, clean, etc. We took advantage of the dinner service and you should too. You are offered choices from the menu earlier in the day and when you arrive, you are treated to three courses with wine and port. The pool is gorgeous. The tennis courts look lovely as well though we didn't play. We enjoyed wandering the property which is full of not only grape vines, but also various fruit and chestnut trees. Sunset on the grass terrace over the mountain across the valley was spectacular. Rita is an amazing host and made us feel welcome and comfortable. You're going to love her!

Very picturesque place, with an intimate and cozy atmosphere, where time passes by very beautifully. The nature all around is very scenic, you can take a short walk through their vineyards and enjoy the view. Everything is bigger in reality than in the pictures, very appreciated that they provided a 16m length swimming pool and a hard court tennis court. Delicious food, very kind and attentive staff, with tasty wines and homemade jams. Common living room with stylish old school and chic furniture, where you cand enjoy a cup of tea in a nice view. Very enjoyable stay!

We really enjoyed our stay here. We had a two bedroom unit. Everything was nicely decorated with antiques. Everything was clean, the beds were comfortable, and it was very quiet. We enjoyed a delicious dinner in the evening that included vegetables grown on the property. The property is lovely, with cherry trees and vegetable gardens, surrounded by the beautiful wine country. There is a swimming pool, but it was cool and rainy on our visit, so we didn’t use it. Service was very friendly. I would highly recommend this place.

We can't say enough about our stay with Quinta da Timpeira. The view is spectacular. The grounds are a photographer's dream. The backyard terrace area is where we sat and enjoyed the afternoon sun and spectacular view, while sipping delicious wine. Our room was immaculate and charming with antiques and nice extra touches added. It was such a joy to be there and the staff could not have been friendlier. Rita was a wonderful spirit as where all the staff members. Our dinner was mouthwatering delicious and the breakfast as well. If you want a peaceful romantic escape at a small friendly Quinta, look no further. We had all this and very reasonably priced as well. We hope to return someday. Thank you to Rita and all the staff for making our visit so special

We had a great time at Quinta da Timpeira! Great location with an amazing view. It’s very easy to get there and there’s always parking available onsite. The hotel is super cozy, clean and quiet - perfect to escape from the city and just relax while enjoying the best of Portugal. The facilities are really good and the food is just amazing. The staff is friendly, polite and always available to make our stay even better. The price is quite appropriate. As portuguese ourselves we recommend this hotel to anyone that wants to discover our country!
