I had booked this hotel with the purpose of staying overnight both on the way to and from Austria. Rest assured that the return trip will be canceled. I traveled with my old parents, both age 86, and I made the reservation because every page I looked at regarding the hotel there were people praising the hotel AND the restaurant. Furthermore, the hotel web-page clearly stated that the restaurant was open all day everyday. Guess what.. The restaurant was closed. Reason : It's Sunday... Plus the only staff available was the front desk clerk, who couldn't recommend any restaurants in the vicinity, as they were closed, because... You guessed it... It's Sunday. Considering that Germany is a main player in Europe it's scary to learn that their hotels and restaurants are closed on Sundays... Perhaps this hotel in question should mention that on their webside instead of highly recommending it.....

Ein Hotel mittlerer Größe in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Halle Center Peissen. Es gibt Konferenz- / Tagungsräume und ein hauseigenes Restaurant. Die Zimmer sind norma ausgestattet, verfügen über eine Kaffeemaschine (Kapselmaschine), einen Wasserkochet und Kühlschrank. Leider sind die Betten deutlich zu hart und vertuschen sehr leicht. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig und gut, leider gibt es nur Folterkaffee und keine Alternative mit einem Kaffeevollauzimaten (Espresso, Cappuccino & Co.) … finde ich sehr schade. Das Einkaufszentrum ist sehr dicht und fußläufig zu erreichen (ca. 5 Minuten). Durch die Lage an einer Bundesstraße und Autobahn ist die Anbindung sehr gut, allerdings ist es dadurch auch etwas lauter. Gutes Mittelklassehotel, leider etwas zu teuer.
