Ombak Villa Langkawi

I have several gripes with Ombak Villa: 1. They do not let you pay the deposit with a debit card. This is the first time a hotel/bedstay has denied my card simply because it's not a credit card. 2. Cleanliness of certain aspects of the room. The top of the counterspace above the sink was quite dusty and had a dead bug on it. Also, the water bottles they provide are reusable glass bottles but the cap had dirt on the inside that could be rubbed away... 3. The gym is absolutely boiling, even with ac I was soaked after bench pressing. They do provide towels at least 4. MOSQUITOS - both nights that I stayed here had me spending 30 minutes - 1 hour hunting down mosquitos. SEE IMAGES for proof. I never opened the door for long and they seemed to be coming from the bathroom. Turns out one of the windows didn't close and had no handle. Called reception and a guy showed up to try and close the window. Still slightly open but nothing he could do. Overall quite disappointed considering the cost of this supposedly 4* hotel.

This hotel was our best stay in Langkawi, It gave us a little 'White Lotus' vibe. If you like lots of greenary, this hotel is for you. View is amazing. Food was good. Only the minus point was it is a little far away from the main center. sometimes difficult to get a cab after 8, if you want to go to Pantai Chenang. Airport and sky bridge was quite near and also some of the nice beaches of Langkawi. For food, there is an authentic Indian restaurant 'Delhi Darbar' at a walking distance. There is also a cafe nearby. I definetely recommend this place.

It was a lovely stay. Eventhough the beach is muddy, the room, landscape and pool are great. If u don’t mind not staying near to cenang beach, then this hotel is a great option. Would definitely come back here next time☺️

Very satisfied and happy with the hotel food ,service ,friendly staff and very clean room, it worth every penny spent. very nice restaurants with beautiful Seaview and very cheap only 30RM pp.

I booked a garden-view room for three for my parents and myself. We had a very pleasant stay at Ombak Villa, thanks to the comfortable and spacious room, clean bathroom, and excellent service from the staff. The hotel’s location is ideal, as it is close to the airport and major attractions in Langkawi, and also conveniently surrounded by good local restaurants.
