This was the worst Wyndham stay I've ever had. When checking in around 5 PM, with very few guests, I requested quiet rooms for the two bookings. Instead, we were placed next to a wedding party's rooms (which I only found out in the morning). All night, people were constantly coming and going, banging on doors, and loudly playing phone videos in the hallway. This went on until about 2:30 AM. I was so worried about them disturbing the kids' room, assuming they were drunk, that I stayed up anxious until dawn. The noise started again around 6 AM. When I went to the lobby at 9 AM to complain, the front desk immediately deflected, claiming I hadn't requested a quiet room, which is utterly ridiculous. Even if they didn't hear my request for a quiet room, shouldn't they have informed me that we were next to a wedding party's rooms? If I had known, I wouldn't have checked in. Then they made up another excuse, saying there were no other rooms available at check-in, which is even more absurd. I came back around 8 or 9 PM after visiting the old town, and there were still many people checking in. The hotel showed absolutely no sincerity, just a series of excuses. If they had just apologized for an oversight, I wouldn't have been so angry. If it weren't for traveling with my kids during the New Year, I would have called the police. They then falsely offered a late checkout until 2 PM. Our high-speed train was at 12 PM, so that's just laughable. I told them no, I would be complaining, and then they offered an 80% discount. Honestly, you should really think twice before choosing a place like this.
