Great Wall Jianguo Hotel

I specifically chose the Jianguo Hotel, but had a terrible stay. 1. My son checked in first and found the internet connection to be poor. Later, I checked in to work and encountered the same problem, which took several tries to resolve. Afterwards, the staff brought us a plate of fruit as an apology. 2. Around 4 AM, there were at least ten mosquitoes in the room. My son was covered in red welts from their bites, clearly visible in the photos. The air conditioning was also very ineffective. This infuriated us early in the morning. When housekeeping staff came to check, they were indifferent, as if it were none of their business. The front desk later brought us some Tiger Balm. 3. The air conditioning remained ineffective, and even after a repairman came, the problem persisted. 4. Housekeeping staff claimed the mosquitoes entered because the screen window was open, which they attributed to negligence by the cleaning staff. Even more perplexing is that even with the screen open, there shouldn't be so many mosquitoes on the 27th floor, clearly indicating a serious lack of hygiene at the hotel. These problems severely impacted our mood: we thought choosing Jianguo Hotel would provide our son with a good learning and resting environment, but this experience directly interfered with his studies. It needs to be clarified that I believe these problems are not the responsibility of the frontline service staff. After the problems arose, some staff members, especially those in the front desk, actively addressed them. The real issue lies in management: the lack of control, inspection, and training in management made these problems inevitable. This exposes the inaction of management—ignoring details, disregarding quality, and completely failing to implement meticulous management. Such management, especially the person in charge, really needs to learn how to manage practically. Such excellent facilities being wasted also seriously damages the brand reputation of Jianguo Hotel.

The goods in the room were clearly marked with prices, except for a cloth laundry bag that was not a gift and had no price. I used a deduction of 53 yuan. I don't know if it was silk from the Tang Dynasty or a unique piece from the Ming Dynasty. It was "expensive". I've stayed in many high-end hotels, but this is the only one that puts making money above service! Choose carefully!

The service is very poor, smoking is not allowed in the lobby, but it is only for ordinary people, many people can smoke. Room service is non-existent. Room service is non-existent. This is probably the most hostile hotel I have encountered in recent years. I will not stay here again.
