Lanzhou is a bit weird as it seems to be separated between old and new area. I came from the train station for a flight the next day, and it’s over an hour away from Lanzhou West. However it’s really close to the airport so made sense for me to stay here!
The hotel itself is in a beautiful location and check in was very easy and efficient. Staff weren’t overly friendly but not rude either, just doing their job. Rooms are lovely and it seems they all look into the garden situated in the middle of the hotel! Overall I think great for the price. I’d definitely recommend walking round the lake if you get the chance!
