Hyatt Regency Lanzhou

The view from the window was absolutely stunning, overlooking the Yellow River. Both the daytime and nighttime scenery made for fantastic photos. The parking attendants, both at the entrance and in the underground garage, were incredibly diligent and responsible, always enthusiastically directing traffic. The cleaning staff were also very kind. The robot delivery for takeout was a lifesaver, saving me countless trips downstairs. Overall, it was a really great experience during my stay in Lanzhou.

My child absolutely loved this family room! She said Lanzhou was super fun, all thanks to the hotel's adorable bunk beds. The room was spacious with an unbeatable view, right across from the three Yellow River bridges. Breakfast was great, and parking was convenient. Thumbs up! I posted about it on Xiaohongshu, and so many people asked me which hotel it was, hahaha.

The house is great, with a view of the Yellow River. The view is absolutely amazing! The service was excellent, and the breakfast noodles were delicious. Everything was really good. We had a minor issue, but their attitude and speed in resolving it were fantastic. I'll definitely go back if I have the chance.

The room had an excellent view, overlooking the Yellow River, and the night scenery was beautiful. The hotel service was great and efficient; they even handled package delivery and sending for us. Both adults and children loved it. The location was also good, making it very convenient to catch a taxi. The only minor drawback was that the west-facing room, with its floor-to-ceiling windows, got very hot from the sun, requiring us to keep the curtains drawn.

Overall, I'm very satisfied! The views of the Yellow River are absolutely stunning, probably one-of-a-kind in Lanzhou. The breakfast was also delicious; the ramen was just as good as what you'd find at a long-standing local shop. The room design and amenities were excellent too. There were just two minor issues that could be improved: First, the extra bed. How can I put it? It was quite a makeshift addition, very wobbly and unstable, and it would slide around. I felt really unsafe sleeping on it; I would have been better off on the sofa. Second, the gym. It felt like they didn't really want guests to use it. The gym's reception is on the 6th floor, and the facilities are on the 7th. After getting to the 6th floor, I needed to take a special elevator, quite a distance from the reception, up to the 7th. My room key wouldn't work there, so I had to go back to the front desk. After they registered my room key, a staff member took a wristband and escorted me to the elevator. She swiped for the 7th floor and then left without much interaction. When I pressed her about how to get back down, she just said I wouldn't need the elevator to go from the 7th to the 6th and then quickly walked away. Honestly, I was quite speechless. It just didn't feel very welcoming. Because of this, I can only give the service 4 stars.

The room was fantastic, large and clean. We were automatically upgraded to a two-story family suite on the 39th floor (the top floor), with a super-king bed downstairs. The Yellow River was right outside our window, offering an absolutely stunning view and a panoramic look at Lanzhou's nightscape.

Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Lanzhou! Facilities: The hotel is very new. Hygiene: It's kept very clean. Environment: Excellent, spacious, and the soundproofing is great. Plus, you get a beautiful view overlooking the Yellow River. Service: The front desk lady was very helpful and even upgraded my room!

Maybe my expectations were too high, but the stay was just mediocre. Even with a child, there were no special services. The room didn't even have a small stool, so my child couldn't wash up. The hairdryer was a cheap Philips model, and the toothbrushes were standard motel quality. The toilet wasn't smart, and the seat was freezing cold – not even a disposable cover was provided until after housekeeping cleaned the next morning. Maybe the high price is just because of the Yellow River view? The 100+ yuan breakfast buffet was also nothing special. After spending nearly 700 yuan for one night, I decisively canceled the remaining three nights of my reservation. It definitely wasn't good value for money.
