Super 8 by Wyndham Las Cruces/White Sands Area

Great hotel love the location

Easy to get to, has bathtubs and a pool. Rooms are comfy and the beds are dreamy. Just need a bit more attention to detail when cleaning, especially in bathroom. A/C is super cold. Staff is always super nice. I am a local and have stayed here twice.

We have stayed at Super 8 hotels in the past and had a great stay unfortunately this place was disgusting. The bathroom door had a hole inside that looked like someone kicked it. The shower mat was discolored which made us wonder if it was clean enough to use. Our reservation was for 3 adults and there were only two bath towels, 2 wash cloths, 1 hand towel, and a bath mat. The desk chair was stained and was filthy. The veneer on the front of the desk was loose. It will be a long time before we make a reservation at a Super8 hotel.

While we were able to switch to a different room, our original room was far from a comforting stay. The carpet looked like it needed to be replaced, the bath tub looked like it may have mold build up, and the ac unit had so much build up of dust that we believe was the main source of the mildew smell. We were a late check in, but thankfully we were moved to a new room that was better but still with its own issues. The bathtub looked like it had the beginnings of mold going around it, there was a crack in the shower wall, the tub looked like it need to soak in bleach, and the shower head was entirely visible of calcium build up. The best part about this property was the check in and check out process.

Almost slept in the car Good-online check-in Good-convenient location Bad-room not cleaned properly, tables were sticky and glass rings all over. Hair in sink, lipstick on bathroom towel, one bed didn’t have clean sheets. (Stains) Really bad-asked for wheelchair access but given 3rd floor room. NO ELEVATOR! Tired from driving for 8 hours. Made the best of the situation. Bought some Lysol and Clorox wipes and cleaned the room before we went to sleep.
