From start to finish this was an awful experience. We arrived early, from a cruise, knowing we wouldn’t be able to access our room. We completed the check in paperwork, including copies of our passports and left our luggage in a small conference room as instructed. On our return a different receptionist was on duty. She spent a while looking for the paperwork, before taking further passport copies. I turned over a sheet of paper that was lying on the reception desk - our passport copies, available for all to pinch. She didn’t initially see this as an issue but agreed to mention to her manager. Our luggage was collected from the conference room, who’s had an open door and was not secured in anyway. Rooms - why on earth do hotels think that glass doors on toilets and showers are acceptable I do not know. The sink is also in the bedroom. Basic amenities. The reception and public areas smelt dreadful - of drains. When we mentioned this to one of the receptionists she said she couldn’t smell it. But later on the smell was gone, so perhaps something had been done to remedy the issue. Finally on our 2nd night we were woken at midnight by revelry from the 8th floor rooftop area. Our room as directly below on floor 7. The noise of young men shouting, singing and moving furniture around went on to 2am. Completely unacceptable. On a small plus note, the buffet breakfast at €12pp was good and plentiful and whilst inefficient the hotel team were polite and tried to be helpful. Your experience may be different but I cannot recommend this hotel.

We come to Las Palmas every November for the start of the ARC Las Palmas- St Lucia Stayed for 5 nights Very handy for the marina Just 3 minute walk throughout the underpass Great location Lovely room facing the sea The room was cleaned every day and the towels were changed daily despite us leaving them on the hooks in the bathroom as advised on the information if we did NOT want new towels Nice tea and coffee making facilities in the room Had breakfast downstairs one morning fantastic selection of morning goods lovely bread & pastries huge selection of everything Cooked items hot and very tasty Gorgeous coffee Some noise from the nightclub on the road junction opposite it wasn’t every night and really wasn’t a problem Reception were friendly and helpful with any requests Taxi rank just outside the back entrance of the hotel easy access to local supermarket and restaurants in the marina Highly recommended Will definitely stay here again

We stayed for 7 nights and found the hotel more than adequate. The room layout was a bit strange with the huge bed making it very difficult to access the wardrobe.I had read other reviews about the leaking showers and sadly ours leaked and was causing the floor to lift.I imagine this is a design fault with the shower screens and doors. We reported it to reception and was told it had been fixed,no such luck.It is a shame because the leaks will cause a lot of damage if not fixed properly.Breakfast was very good with an excellent choice and dishes being replenished quickly.Generally staff were pleasant and helpful. The hotel lacks style and character but is well run and clean. The location is midway between the old city and the port and main seaside area, however which ever way you walk it will take 35-40 minutes. There is a bus stop just outside the hotel and the number 1 bus will take you either way if you don’t feel like a long walk. Overall the Hôtel catered for our needs and was fairly good value for money.

We stayed in the hotel for 7 nights, while visiting Las Palmas for a week. We chose it on the basis of recommendations/ratings. The bedroom was good, very comfortable super king sized bed (we requested an upgrade), clean and tidy. Very quiet, despite overlooking police station/main road. Bathroom is open plan into the bedroom which isn't for everyone (lack of privacy, especially with toilet). Also no bathroom fan. Shower water pressure wasn't great, also leaked and caused puddles, but this was largely fixed after we reported it (not fully fixed I should add, possibly a problem throughout the hotel?) Staff were friendly, particularly those on reception who also helped us with some inquiries around transport, restaurants, etc... Breakfast good, a wide range of foods and drinks including the chance to request something bespoke eg omelette. Skytop/rooftop bar wasn't open when we went (the space was, the bar itself wasn't) but you can take your own drinks up which is great. There was a salsa night one night, which was fantastic (didn't join in, but observed). I suspect they run a few events like this during the summer. The location was its only real downside for us, but you can't fault the hotel for that as we maybe just chose the wrong spot. To access decent restaurants / 'life', you either have to bus it or walk 20 mins in either direction. Ideally, we'd prefer to be maybe 10 mins walk to a busier spot. The port, which IS walkable, has some good restaurants but your best bet is to bus it to the old town (Vegueta) where there's much more life, and some truly beautiful buildings. Buses are very easy and reliable though, so a small complaint. Visited the aquarium too, highly recommend. And Maspalomas.

Pleasant staff at the reception. Happy with the breakfast as well - fresh food, decent variety, always being replenished. Room layout is a disaster - it’s just an absolutely open space. Shower water was running into the room, shower itself was hot/cold/hot/cold - I guess there is an issue with mixer tap. I was scared not to get burnt. Toilet door was not closing and missing the part of rubber insulation - so you can actually see the person inside. If someone goes toilet at night the light is automatically switches on which is bright enough to light up and the whole room - as there is no wall separating toilet/shower from the rest of the room. Minibar fridge was not working properly. In addition, our room had extra door to some staff storage area so one day I got waken up by two ladies chatting in there.

Exceptional staff along with a hotel that goes above and beyond made this a wonderful stay. Free drinks for Christmas and New Years along with Christmas Chocolates and a btl or wine for New Years showed me this hotel cares about its customers

Ideally located and easy to find. Efficient check in but on arrival discovered there was no bar and no food available. Only drinks from lobby and snacks from vending machine. Think this is somewhat more of an hotel for business rather than leisure. Reception was very helpful and professional and rooms were immaculate. There is however a rooftop bar but this only opens at weekends. Would certainly recommend without hesitation and good price point too.
