Gran Marina Suites

The information that appears on the Trip.com application of the Gran Marina Suites hotel in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria is incorrect. In the Philippines suite (as well as in the Canary Islands, Africa, ...) it says two double beds and IT IS NOT REAL, they are two single beds and an extra bed. The single beds, although small, are comfortable. The extra bed is a hell of a spring bed base. We were a couple traveling with an 11-year-old child, who was very uncomfortable in that bed, which did not even leave room to pass through and the dimensions were very small. In addition, they did not even put the duvet that the other two beds had, only the sheet. Regarding the kitchenware, it was also prepared only for two (two plates, two cups, two glasses ...). Regarding the size of the beds, we contacted the hotel and they did not propose any solution, delegating their responsibility entirely to the TRIP.COM website. Who I understand will only publish the information provided by the hotel. Being quite unpleasant in their response. Justifying that they provided good information on their website and that we were the ones who had booked that room. Regarding cleanliness, as you can see in the photos, there were very deteriorated parts, such as the shower, the surround of the sink and the front of the ceramic hob. In 5 days/4 nights of stay they only cleaned the room once. Very good smell in the hallways but quite bad in the rooms. In addition, the bathroom extractor did not work and the shower flooded the entire area, making it necessary to place towels so that the water did not spread.

Nice apartment, fully equipped and well located. Daily cleaning included. Reasonable price and outstanding treatment from the staff and owners. They even did us a favor with a transfer when they really had no obligation.

Es un edificio, situado en la zona baja de la Isleta, con 4 apartamentos que ocupan cada uno una planta y con una decoración propia. Nosotros ocupamos la 2ª planta, creo que el apartamento se llamaba Dreams. Destaca su amplitud, luminosidad, una decoración muy cuidada y muy nueva y muy bien equipados. Era en general, muy acogedor y confortable. La atención del personal muy buena y la limpieza diaria, salvo domingos, y excelente. Muy bien situado y muy cerca de la playa de las Canteras. El problema es que es muy difícil aparacar por la zona, pero tienen un aparcamiento concertado a 10.70 E/día y el último te lo regalan. Todo un acierto, haber dado con él, pues el precio es muy razonable, para todo lo que ofrece.
