We stayed in Latacunga for 1 night as a stopover so cannot comment its location in relation to Latacunga sights or other areas. We chose Endamo because it was very reasonably priced and very highly rated (Tripadvisor no 1 in Latacunga at the time of our visit). We were a bit surprised in this high rating when we saw our room. Yes it was quite big but rather worn looking as the walls were scratched in many places. But the biggest negative factor was that the Deluxe Double Room had no sofa although it was clearly marked in our booking confirmation. We booked a room for 3 people (me, my wife and our 5YO daughter) and expected a sofa bed for the child but there was none. The receptionist did not know anything about it and said that he cannot do anything, there is no sofa nor extra bed. We managed to sleep in one bed but this is not a room you expect when you book a lodging for 3 people. The hotel has a designated parking area close to the property but you can also park on the street in front of the building. The restaurant was nice and the breakfast decent so all in all an average experience. We were very disappointed because of the false advertising concerning the sofa but otherwise an ok place for short stay.

I stayed here for a couple weeks for work and it was an absolutely amazing experience. The owners are sweet and very welcoming. They go above and beyond to ensure you feel comfortable and your stay is a pleasant one. The rooms vary in sizes, but he one I stayed in and the one my friend stayed in were both very decently sized. Mine had an extremely comfortable leather couch that also turned into a bed. His was on the top floor and had a view of Cotopaxi. They lock the hotel at night and have cameras everywhere for an added feeling of security.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Endamo while visiting the Cotopaxi/Quilotoa area of Ecuador. The staff were friendly and hospitable, the facilities were clean and quiet, the breakfast was good, and the bed was very comfortable. My husband and I had stayed in two different hotels prior to Hotel Endamo (one in Quito and one in Mindo) and both agreed we got the best sleep so far in Ecuador thanks to the comfortable bed and quiet facility. As for the location, it is on a quieter street and is only about a 10-minute walk to the Latacunga bus terminal (or ~$1.25 taxi when we didn't want to walk) and a 5-minute walk to the main town square and plenty of restaurants/cafes. The last detail that made our visit top-notch is they provided us with bottles of water each day in place of a water filter (for COVID safety). We appreciated having fresh water for hikes and day trips. All-in-all, we highly recommend Hotel Endamo if you are visiting Latacunga!

We enjoyed every aspect of our recent stay at the Hotel Endamo, from the ease of check-in, cleanliness, delicious breakfast, helpful suggestions from staff, safe parking for our rental car and central location. The staff even arranged to have our laundry done for us on the morning we checked out. Top-notch experience!

We stayed here with our two grandchildren and everything was great First class breakfast, good location, and comfortable beds and friendly service and all at a fair price They even arranged for a driver and van to take us to Quilotoa The hotel is modern and very clean and fresh smelling

The hotel was in a good location. We were able to store our bags for 3 days while we did the Quilotoa trek. The staff was friendly and accommodating.

The room was quite good, silent, very clean with a comfortable bed; toilet was provided with everything you need of. The owner, don Enrique took us for a city tour as soon as we arrived, informing us about city major attractions and events. We couldn't have had a better staying.
