We were given ground floor (room 7) and my fiancee could smell a damp smell on entering the room, i couldn't as had a cold. We realised why once it began raining and we weren't woken early in the night to the sound of water cascading outside they sounded like a permanently giving shower. Obviously a blocked gutter/overflow/ drain. There was no way we were going to upheave 2 children and all our belongings in the night to a different room so we just all put up with it. Breakfast time wasn't much better when we had to wait in the doorway for 10 minutes despite booking only to face a faulty roasting machine, stale pancakes, sorry looking Beans and the smallest looking poached egg I've ever seen. I'd rather just drive home next time and eat elsewhere for breakfast
