Excellent location opposite train station. We had a twin room which faced the mountains and lake, the view was stunning. There was also a view of the football stadium which is a short walk away. The old town and marina are also within easy walking distance. The room itself was spacious and comfortable. Good value for money.

My husband and I were traveling by train all over Switzerland. This hotel was really quite nice with a hilltop perch overlooking the town. It was also conveniently located just across the street from the main train station! It was by far the most convenient train to hotel transfer during our 3-week travels.

Spacious room / suite in annex. AC worked well. Ambiance: concrete bunker. Large windows with nice views. Could use a shelf adjacent to the (tiny) sink in bathroom for toiletries (to avoid placing shaving kit on toilet cover). Good breakfast. A few small adjustments would make this an exceptional room; as is, it’s merely good.

It's only a few minutes from the station. It was my second time staying there, and I had a good stay this time, too. The scenery from the window was so beautiful and calm, and the breakfast was delicious.
All the staff are very kind and pleasant.
If I could make a request, it would be more comfortable for me if there were slippers in the room.
I hope to come back again.

We had very enjoyable stay at this hotel. The hotel is situated across the road from the train station, so very convenient; we found it to be a quiet location. A warm welcome greeted us on arrival and we found all the staff we met very friendly and helpful. We had a double room with a lake view in the annexe (we had to leave the annexe, walk about 20 metres outside and then enter the main hotel building for the breakfast room; not an issue). The room was clean, comfortable and we had plenty of space; the bed was very comfortable and the shower was great. A good breakfast is provided. The Old Town is about a 10 minute walk, downhill. We didn’t find the uphill return walk a problem; there is a local bus service from the Old Town but we did not use this. Staff at the Tourist Information Office were very helpful; and friendly. We would certainly use this hotel again if returning to Neuchâtel.
