Blue Elk Inn

Great property and easy location to walk to downtown shops of Leavenworth. Will definitely stay here again.

We arrived 3 hrs early. I came in and asked if it was possible to check in and they had our room ready for us! The staff was incredibly friendly. The lodge is absolutely adorable! It is so close to everything. Very clean,comfy bed. We will definitely be back!

The check in was fast and easy! The room is super nice and being able to sit on the patio by the fire curled up in the provided blanket with my lady, helped make our stay more special.

This Inn has a very warm ambiance, both in the common areas and the room we stayed (room 201). Sauna and Jacuzzi are available in the winter, as well as a pool in the summer. The free breakfast is decent.

Really enjoyed our stay here, room was very clean and the staff were friendly. When we realized we forgot our dogs food bowls, the staff quickly offered some extra ones they had. I do wish that breakfast would have offered more single proteins. The first morning we were there, it was eggs and biscuits and gravy and the sausage in the gravy was the only meat. The second morning was to make your own breakfast burrito and the ground up meat was the only meat option. No bacon or sausage links or paties... for people who don't want the extra carbs in the biscuit or tortilla wrap, the protein options weren't very good. Also, on Saturday night after we got back from having dinner, we were getting ready to go get in the hot tub and we happened to look out at the pool and notice that the staff was already closing up and shutting everything down. I was sure I was told that the pool was open until 10:00 or 10:30 and it was only 9:30. We were very disappointed that we were not able to use the hot tub while we were there.

Everything was very good, except when the toilet plugged up. that's life right? Great breakfast bar.

Room was very comfortable. If you are the type to sleep with fan noise the air conditioner is very quiet. We always bring our own just in case. Very close to downtown. Adventure Park is across the street. We could hear the excited yelling from the coaster. Our room faces the pool/garden and we could not hear them.

Cleanliness, free breakfast, friendly staff, pet friendly, loved the mountain view, 20 min. walk to mainstreet, ,where the display of lights are. Beautiful property.

I am not used to spending more than $200 a night for a hotel room. I may have expected too much. The rooms and the Inn itself are nice and inviting. The balcony was cute and the bath robes are a nice touch. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I really enjoyed hunting for the blue elk in the all the paintings. My boyfriend said the breakfast was mediocre for the cost of the room (I slept in). The room was nicely appointed with it's own dry bar that included tea and coffee with a Keurig in the room. If you want a late check out, you will need to pay extra for that. I am not used to that. Maybe it's a standard practice for higher end resorts. The staff was fairly accommodating on check in but seemed less than enthusiastic at the end of the evening. There are 2 saunas. One is a 4 person steam sauna and the other is a 2 person "treehouse" sauna. I had requested to reserve space in the treehouse sauna out of curiosity and was given the other 4 person sauna instead. It wasn't the end of the world but the sauna I had requested was empty and available. We still enjoyed our stay. I would like to come back to Leavenworth in a quieter time or reserve earlier in the season when everyone is still happy to have us tourists there.
