Leeds Marriott Hotel

The hotel's location is excellent, right in the city center. Stepping out, you're directly on the main shopping street, and across the road is Trinity Leeds shopping mall, making it incredibly convenient for shopping and dining. The hotel itself has some history, and the overall facilities are decent. The room was generally clean and hygienic, with staff cleaning daily. The mattress was neither too soft nor too hard, making for a comfortable sleep. However, there was a fair amount of dust in the room, which caused my eyes to become sensitive and swollen after checking in. Also, the hairdryer was a very old model, and some room facilities felt a bit dated. For a five-star hotel, the equipment seems slightly old, and it feels like it's time for an upgrade. Overall, the location is very convenient, and the accommodation is clean and comfortable. It's just that the facilities didn't quite meet my expectations for a five-star hotel.

Perfect! Both the hotel environment and the front desk service were excellent. It offers great value for money, the room was very clean, and the bed was super comfortable. The only minor drawback might be that the breakfast doesn't quite match the brand's level, but then again, the price is relatively cheap, so it's understandable.

The hotel is about a five-minute walk from the train station and a 12-minute walk from the bus station. It's located in the city center, right across from a shopping mall with a M&S supermarket! The hotel's interior is clean, and the service is warm and friendly. The room size is quite spacious for UK standards. Overall, it was a good experience.

During my stay, it was a bit noisy due to some nearby events, but a staff member at the front desk was incredibly patient and helped me find and switch to a room facing a different direction. The hotel's location is excellent, close to the subway, with a mall, supermarket, and convenience stores nearby. However, the soundproofing is terrible. Every night past 10 PM, the street noise is constant until morning; there's almost no sound insulation at all. If there's a protest with loud music and shouting, you simply won't be able to sleep. Plus, there are often protesters gathering right outside the hotel entrance. Those looking for peace and quiet should definitely avoid staying here during such times.

The hotel is right next to the Leeds Trinity College student accommodation, offering a quiet escape despite being in a lively area. I really liked the feel of it.

This was the best value-for-money accommodation during my 20-day in-depth tour of the UK. The location is practically central, just a few hundred meters from the train station. There's public parking next to the hotel, though it's a bit pricey at £37 for one night. Right next to the hotel is a shopping mall with everything you could need, including lots of great food. There's a Thai restaurant there that's particularly excellent. If I ever come back, this will definitely be my go-to hotel again 🏨
