Food was incredible as always, service was really poor today. No one came to see if everything was ok once the food had been delivered to the table - in addition waiting to have your table cleared for over 40 mins and having to ask 3 times is not ideal, this also has a knock on effect for ordering desserts which we also had to ask for. Not sure if there are new team members - ordering drinks was a little challenging (didn't expect to be told the girl couldn't put the lime in the Corona bottle it would only go in a glass!) may that is just me. Anyway we were not in a massive rush just one to note what would normally have been 2-2.5 hours took nearly 4. I did NOT feed this back as the manager had left but I will email just for their awareness.

Sunday dinner was amazing! The beef was absolutely beautiful and everything else was just soo tasty ! Large portions ! The best cauliflower cheese ever! Gravy was to die for ! Would highly recommend and definitely our go to place now for Sunday dinner ! Thank you

It was super busy when we went and the restaurant had ran out of the starter we wanted. However the starter we had and the Sunday lunch itself was amazing. We had the pork and if you’re a crackling fab you’ll be in for a treat. Will definitely go again.

One of the best Sunday Lunches I've had in ages & in a lovely setting - great that they were able to accommodate Stanley our Border Terrier as well! The Flavours in the Carrot and Lentil Soup were amazing and the Roast Beef surpassed our expectations!

Best food in the area. Delicious tastes, great combinations, fresh ingredients & chef obviously knows what he’s doing. Cod very fresh & beautifully presented & cooked. Pork amazing with a perfect jus. Puddings often disappointing but the duck egg custard tart was amazing. First visit & we’ll definitely be back. Staff very good too.

I absolutely could fault anything, Sunday lunch was exceptional, I would go as far to say the best I've ever had. Local sourdough, started and dinner all amazing, top class lager and cider on draught and the staff couldn't do enough for you on top of being very welcoming and nice.

I searched on Google for the best Sunday lunch in Leicestershire and Mallories was top of the list. We had never visited before so thought why not? The food was phenomenal, so much depth to the flavour, we couldn’t fault any of the dishes. The service was also second to none and we have booked to go back to celebrate my husbands 40th Birthday. A wonderful experience!

Food was excellent. We had 8 course tasting which was £85 and £33 for a good quality bottle of red. With tip and pre and after drinks our bill was £465 for 4. Service was efficient and friendly. Only couple of things to work on (which didn’t effect our enjoyment) wine was just poured without offered for tasting and on arrival no real welcome and clarity over what to do for pre drinks.

Excellent food and service. Thank you. Lovely decoration with attentive staff but not intrusive. Will definitely return and recommend to family and friends. The beef was cooked to perfection and the triple cooked chips were amazing. See you next time!!!
