You don't get anything like this in England. Personally welcomed by the Mrs de Flottemanville [who speaks better Englsih than many back in blighty] the rooms have great character. This is a very relaxing spot and less than ten minutes walk from La Table de Henri the local high end restaurant (book in advance). How better to break your journey too and from the port of Cherbourg?

Comfortable rooms at a fabulous old chateau, made extra special by the charming attentive host. Nothing was too much trouble, and her advice on what to see and do was spot on. Breakfast was superb. Highly recommended for a stay in Normandy.

This is such a beautiful chateau. It is very dramatic, from the tree-lined entrance to the tall towers and stunning gardens. We stayed in the family rooms, which were very convenient for a family of 4 and had everything we needed. The breakfast was delicious (and so much food - our children were particularly delighted with it!). While we had booked a night as a convenient place to pause on our way back to Cherbourg, this beautiful B&B ensured it felt like a continuation of our holiday, rather than just an overnight stop on the way home.

Special place to stay. Beautiiful gardens. We had a lovely breakfast and chat with Francoise the owner who was so hospitable. If ever I am in the region again I will definitely stay here. Lovely memory

The owner was very welcoming and greeted us as soon as we drove up to the front door. She fixed us a very french breakfast including homemade crepes. Delicious.
The room was lovely and she even had real flax linen bed sheets…heavenly!

This is a magical place. The chateau and grounds were just beautiful. The host is warm and friendly. Breakfast was great!
