My first stay at HUALUXE Hotel Leshan was beyond expectations! From the warm reception by Mr. Hu at the front desk, who kindly upgraded us to a room with a minibar, the accommodation was exceptionally quiet—perfect for families with kids. The breakfast spread was a delightful surprise, featuring abundant local Leshan specialties like tofu brain, ka bing (stuffed buns), and both spicy/non-spicy boboji (skewered dishes). A special touch came from Ms. Lucky Mu Jin, who thoughtfully gave our child bread and yogurt. Access to the gym and swimming pool with room card registration was seamless, and the facilities were impeccably clean and well-managed. Every detail reflected genuine care, making this stay highly recommendable!

The hotel was near the station, 5 minutes in a taxi. Another 20 mins to get to the big Buddha. We didn't explore Leshan much due to time but there where plenty of places to eat, buy supplies near by. The pool was shut due to water works going on. The gym was quiet with a lot of equipment. Breakfast was fine: pastries, yogurt, cereal, bacon, sausage, eggs - the usual. No towels left in the room but service was friendly and they sorted that quickly. Overall, a decent place to stay.

The overall hardware and software are better than your average five-star hotel. The shower is nice. The breakfast buffet is also better (quality) than a typical five-star hotel, with a lot of local delicacies. The tofu pudding is delicious, I ate two bowls. Registering as a member gives you a lot of free gifts, and the food is delicious!

I was very pleased with the hotel. Aside from the executive lounge being closed, everything else was perfect. The location is great, right across from the best shopping mall. I received a 90 RMB dining voucher to order food in my room, which was incredibly affordable and I couldn't use it all. Alice, the beautiful housekeeper, was very thoughtful and sent me a travel guide to Leshan in advance. Their steamed buns are so delicious, you can't miss them.
