Hotels in Zhanggong Bridge Gourmet Street/Dongda Street, Leshan

The room featured two double beds, comfortably accommodating four people. We stayed with our two children, and they absolutely loved it! The separate vanity area and toilet/shower room were a fantastic feature, really helping to prevent congestion, especially when traveling with family. You could tell all the decor items were carefully selected and displayed a strong sense of design; even the hangers were stylish. Cleanliness was overall good. However, there was a slight sewer smell at night, and I'd recommend the hotel management investigate and address this issue. As expected from a designer hotel, the aesthetics were excellent. The furnishings in the indoor public areas were beautiful, but some lights weren't on, which slightly diminished the visual impact. Another minor point: we took the elevator directly to the second floor, where the front desk seemed rather makeshift. It wasn't until we later visited the first floor and saw the main reception that we realized the second-floor desk was just a temporary setup. On the plus side, the main entrance opens right onto 'Haochi Street' (Food Street), making dining incredibly convenient. The service was decent. They proactively contacted us in advance with parking instructions, which was very helpful. They also thoughtfully provided extra toiletries based on the number of guests, which we found to be a very considerate touch.

The hotel is very high-end and convenient to go anywhere. The state-owned enterprise brand is different. The river view in the room is very comfortable and the breakfast is also very rich. The lobby manager Wang Ping is warm and thoughtful, proactive and patient. The front desk girl Mingyue is considerate and gentle and responsive. The service is super good [strong] [strong]

The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic, right in the heart of the food street, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient. I honestly didn't have high expectations, but it genuinely surprised and impressed me! We were traveling to Leshan with our child, and our room, featuring a large double bed and a tatami single bed, proved to be very comfortable and convenient. It's also super close to the Leshan Giant Buddha scenic area. The spacious soaking tub was a huge hit with our little one, who had an absolute blast playing in it. And watching movies on the giant projector screen? So cool! The front desk service was also incredibly thoughtful and attentive. We would absolutely stay here again on our next trip to Leshan. Highly recommend it!

The hotel boasts an excellent location, right by the Min River and directly opposite the Leshan Giant Buddha. A leisurely stroll along the riverbank from the hotel allows you to experience the everyday life of Leshan locals. Within a short walk, you'll discover countless local eateries and snack stalls – it's a foodie's paradise where you can constantly munch as you explore! Despite being riverside and across the road, it's surprisingly quiet in the evenings and early mornings. Before I knew it, I fell in love with this charming small city in Sichuan. If there's a slight downside, it's that the hotel seems better suited for couples. Traveling with my extended family, the older members found the room a bit sparse on amenities like stools, tables, and storage for their belongings. My partner, needing to work on a laptop in the evening, even had to stand as there was no proper desk or workspace. Breakfast doesn't start until 8 AM, which is quite inconvenient for early risers looking to fuel up before a day of sightseeing. However, the set menu breakfast was a rather novel and unique experience!

What a wonderful little hotel perfectly located just opposite the Great Buddha and only 5 minutes walk from East Street. It was delightful to walk alongside the river and watch all the goings on. The hotel itself is really exceptional. My room was excellent, with a large bed and a separate sitting area with a view over the river. It was very well appointed and sparkling clean. But the best part of the hotel is really the young lady and young man at the desk. They are both calm and charming and always ready to help. It provided a really nice atmosphere in the hotel. I would definitely come back to this hotel and recommend it whole heartedly. Don't think twice about it its a really exceptional experience and tremendous value

Advantages: 1. The location is in the food street. Just across the road is the riverside promenade. You can see the Leshan Giant Buddha in about 10 minutes' walk. 2. The front desk clerk was very nice. In order to get good reviews, he gave me a small fan and cold drinks in the hot summer. The service level is really great. Disadvantages: 1. It is very very very noisy. It is next to the food court and there are crowds of people at night until the early morning. In the early morning, the sprinkler trucks sweeping the streets rumble loudly, which keeps me awake all night. It is optional for those who do not require high noise in the sleeping environment, otherwise it is a mistake to enter!

Our stay at this inn in Leshan was nothing short of incredible. From the moment we arrived, the kindest and most earnest lady welcomed us and went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic experience. She gave us amazing tips for dinner and visiting the Giant Buddha, which made our trip so much smoother and more enjoyable. The inn itself is a true gem. The rooms were spotlessly clean and thoughtfully designed, with heated beds and toilets that were perfect for the cool weather. Not many hotels out there with heated beddings and toilet seats. Not only that there is good heating with a radiator together with an air conditioner. The outdoor garden was another highlight—beautifully maintained and filled with fresh, vibrant greenery. It was such a peaceful spot to relax and enjoy the morning air. What made the stay unforgettable, though, was the lady who runs the place. Her warmth and dedication are unmatched. Even when we tried to tip her to thank her for her hospitality, she gently refused, saying she was just grateful for each guest who stayed. If you’re visiting Leshan, this inn is a must. Between the cozy amenities, beautiful garden, and heartfelt service, it’s the kind of place that leaves you with wonderful memories. We can’t wait to come back!

Stayed for three nights and was very satisfied. The hotel is quite close to the train station and Suji Ancient Town, making it very convenient to get around by taxi. It's a bit further to the Grand Buddha, about a 20-minute drive. Jiaxing Road, a bustling food street, is right outside. I highly recommend trying the Shredded Chicken and Crispy Pork Combo from Xiaodou Haitang, the Brown Sugar Rice Cake from Xu Liang Gao, the Spicy Bobo Chicken from Dongdong Bobo Chicken, and the Sweet and Sour Spicy Potatoes from Wang Liuniang Bobo Chicken. All are within walking distance, and you absolutely must give them a try! The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. They proactively upgraded our room to a deluxe king-size bed room, and also asked if we minded a room at the end of the corridor, as well as advising on how to adjust the air conditioning to reduce noise. Upon checkout, they even offered us two bottles of water for our journey. On our last night, we wanted some ice for drinks. We enquired and were told we could get ice from the 2nd floor. When we went there, a staff member filled a large bucket for us to take back to our room. The hotel's facilities are also excellent. On the 10th floor, there's a gym with treadmills, elliptical machines, and dumbbells. Right opposite the gym is the laundry room, equipped with three washing machines and three dryers, which was generally sufficient. If guests couldn't pick up their laundry promptly after washing, the staff would sometimes proactively help put it into laundry bags and set it aside. Breakfast each morning was quite varied, and the coffee machine offered a good selection of drinks. It was a bit difficult to get the best cuts of the Sweet Skin Duck, probably because earlier guests had already taken them. Similarly, if you went later for the Bobo Chicken, there wouldn't be much variety left, and the taste wasn't as good as what you'd find outside. I had hoped they would offer Leshan's specialty Tofu Pudding, but it wasn't available, which was a pity. Overall, I was extremely satisfied. If only Leshan's summer wasn't so hot, this trip would have been even better.

Very good shopkeeper, he contacted us one day in advance after we made a reservation. The room was very clean and tidy, with earplugs, hair dryer, makeup remover...all available. The key is that their hotel is very close to the food street and Foshan. We went to Foshan twice and walked from the inn. The main thing is that I really want to experience their old house. As soon as I entered, I wanted to take pictures all the time. Everywhere is a scenery. It has the feeling of a big house like before. If you like cheongsam and ancient clothes, this is perfect.
