1. Far, at least half an hour's walk from the central area, except if you want to eat in the supermarket. 2. The hotel has no internet. I paid 5 pounds for 24 hours, but still no internet, and the 5 pounds has not been refunded. The service is OK, but it does not solve the problem. Be careful when choosing whether to stay.

A terrible hotel with dirty linen, poor service and inconsistent messaging. We had a poor dinner here and were refused our prepaid breakfast for being late, though we arrived 17 minutes prior to the alleged close of service. Both the front desk and the info sheet in our room said breakfast finishes at 10:30. Evidently that wasnt the case. It was a bank holiday so it forced us to walk around the town searching for somewhere open to eat. Management instantly refunded us for breakfast and refused to help, despite the exact same desk telling us breakfast finished at 10:30 the day before. They didn't have a clue what they were doing and didn't care either. All draught beers were off, the staff didn't seem to know why. The bed linen was stained (see photo). If this is what the plus rooms are like God help you if you book a standard. I should have complained more at the time but didn't want to waste even more of my time on it. If I wrote about every fault I'd be here all day, these are the headlines. You'd have to be crazy or desperate to stay here. The hotel should be demolished and replaced with a facility that works. I had no idea Premier Inns could be this bad and I've stayed in dozens of them. For the amount we paid the hotel offered exceedingly poor value for money and it was saddening to realise this would have to suffice as recourse, wasting my time and breath on something so undeserving and I suspect completely incorrigible.

A really lovely clean room, couldn’t fault it.. smelled very nice, everything presented nicely, especially the bed! Will be staying here again, I found a card saying your room was cleaned by “Cherie” so I would like to forward on my praise to this person. Breakfast was lovely, evening meal not so much, but overall a great stay, thank you

The food was cooked to perfection, i believe the waiting staff said the chef’s name was Jack. Food was prompt and cooked to perfection, he was very considerate about my son’s allergies and even came out personally to discuss them with us. The waiting staff were also super friendly and helpful. The rooms and staff in the hotel itself were also friendly and helpful.

As usual, very comfortable stay, good food and excellent service. The staff were very attentive, helpful & friendly and the room was very clean and very well appointed (I was given an accessible room as there no others available) as it was a late booking.

I can't fault the hotel, all of the staff were friendly and said hello every time I went past reception even late at night. Bryony and Katie were especially sweet and friendly. I was visiting family for my birthday and the staff put a card, balloon and present in my room for me. The hotel is near to a supermarket market, petrol station and other shops as well as just off the A38 so has good access. The hotel was clean. There was ample free parking as well for hotel guests. I will definitely be staying there again.

A failing site sadly, would have been 5 stars if the brand met the effort your staff who worked hard and who are keeping this hotel/restaurant going. By far the best service we have received from every member of staff at a premier inn but seemed to be let down by hierarchy that seem to not care. We stayed for 2 nights following a 2 night stay in st Austell with the staff going above and beyond for each and every customer. The Hotel was as expected, not amazing but of the standard we expected, quality of the food offered on the limited menu was very limited but cooked very well, (this was informed in a vague email a couple of weeks before arriving should we of know when we booked we would of considered other options) We chose this hotel due the close proximity to looe as we wanted to visit the town, but will not consider this hotel again for future visits and feel for the staff employed at the establishment who did there best but were constantly moaned at by customers due to the failings of people running the company. Please for the sake of your employees sort this out.

The room was not cleaned enough, dust on the cupboards, chest, I had to clean myself. The toilet was smelling. I had to keep wasting my perfumes in the toilet just for the bad odour to stop. The rug was not well vacuumed I saw some strands of hair on the rug. The food was poor .

Paid for Premier PLUS we got Premier MINUS. We Got: Poor Maintenance, two people, one hand towel. Broken fixtures and fittings. Slow WiFi (called Ultimate) LOL Heating didn't work. The room was colder than the corridor. We don't expect this from Premier Inns.
