Ideal location in the town centre with parking close by. Comfortable room and efficient staff at reception.

People will moan the price has gone up to 10.99 for breakfast , but its actually great value for money unless you eat like a bird. Its an 'all you can eat' breakfast , and includes everything from breakfast pastries , hot drinks , fruit juices to a full cooked breakfast. The quality of the food is very good , and its always piping hot and expertly cooked and presented by the lovely Tracey. We were there on 22/04/24 and Tracey was her usual bubbly self , even finding the time to take photos for some Japanese tourists who wanted a snap of the whole family enjoying their breakfast. We will continue to use the place for breakfast while such a charismatic lady is cooking it. Well done again Tracey.

Check in on 20th April was a bit farcical. We had intended to very quickly drop our bags into our room and immediately meet with friends. However, our room wasn’t set up in advance for 3 guests. Reception were unable to ask housekeeping to do this so we ended up having to change rooms. Breakfast was good quality and good value. However, we had arranged to meet friends for breakfast (non hotel guests), meaning we wanted to sit together (we had all pre booked). The employee wasn’t very amendable to us moving a table to allow us all to sit together, and was actually quite grumpy.

Very pleasant and helpful staff (apart from one, sadly there is usually one). Jo was particularly helpful and keen to ensure that our stay was good. Twin room, (twin rooms recently updated I think), which was standard, but with two single beds. Fellow guests said that double rooms were missing the sofa bed, just stained carpet where they used to be. Shower was very powerful, with consistent water temperature. WiFi is not good. Constantly have to reconnect and often no access at all. Breakfast was disappointing. Not enough staff. Tables not cleared, breakfast items presented in grease filled serving platters. Beans were poor quality, more bean soup than baked beans. Cheap sausages. One terrible toaster, so slow - elements did not seem to heat up properly. No orange juice. I would rather pay a bit more and have better quality. Coffee was good. Location is good, just a couple of minutes from town centre. Car park convenient, pay on exit. Staff definitely the best bit about this Premier Inn.

We stayed here on a Saturday night and had a great time. The hotel has a fantastic location in the city centre, close to many bars, restaurants and shops and about 10 minutes walk to the cathedral. There is a car park a few minutes walk away (Friary car park), which is very good value. Staff service is excellent. The rooms are exactly what you expect from a Premier Inn. The buffet breakfast is excellent, very well set out with a good choice of hot and cold options to help yourself to. We definitely recommend this hotel for a weekend break in Lichfield.

Stayed here for two weeks for a course for work that needed to do, apart from a couple of nights where items were out of stock in the menu , can’t fault it. A big shout out to Beth and Clare who are absolute assets to the team , nothing is too much trouble for them, very professional, very welcoming. Thanks girls until next time 😊

Chosen for the great location and secure parking nearby. We could walk everywhere. The Cathedral, St Chads Church, Dr Johnson's House, Erasmus Darwin's house, pubs restaurants were and easy and random stroll away. We found other historical sites by chance.

We generally like Premier Inn hotels as we find them very comfortable so always check them out first when visiting anywhere. This time for Chris McCausland at the Garrick Theatre. Great location in Lichfield with good car parking nearby. Staff were very pleasant on arrival but indifferent on checkout. Our shower's controls were stuck fast on cold so we couldn't take a shower in the morning. When we left the staff couldn't care less about the problem with the shower. A great pity as it spoiled an otherwise good stay.
