You have to be very careful!!!!My wife and daughter traveled there. Everything was paid in advance. 19 hours before check-in, we received an email that they were sending us the money back. Without any cancellation.We didn't read the email anymore and my wife and daughter flew there from the Czech Republic. Of course, there was no one there. I had to quickly find new accommodation that was 3 times more expensive plus the taxi ride.But the money came to me by 136 euros less. I am still fighting with VRBO for the rest. They should properly pay some compensation. I write to them on VRBO support and they just lie, lie and lie. They even wrote that it was returned. Watch out for VRBO!!!!!! We fancied a quick trip to the seaside while in Rome and our concierge advised to get the metro to Piramide station, then change for a 30 minute ride to Stella Polare. A 10 minute walk from there took us to La Spiagetta free beach. Not the prettiest beach but mainly sandy and nice for a swim. We had invested in waterproof mobile phone holders for our money and phones which made us feel more secure as there were quite a few hawkers along the whole beach. Not sure if there were facilities there but we walked along the beach to near the pier (finding a path up to the road a bit before it) and popped in to a toilet by a beach bar along the way. Lovely sunset at the beach and an easy trip back by Lido Centro metro (again a 10 minute walk from the beach).

Just an hour by metro from Rome, this is a gem of a beach when the City is too hot. Cheap travel and the lido is pay to enter. Just €9 gets you a super comfy lounger for the day. The beach is spotless, Sandy and showers, restaurant and gelato all right there. The water is crystal, shallow and warm. No pebbles and highly recommend a day off the beaten track to hang with Italian families and couples. A little slice of heaven

The sorrounding area of the beach was dirty , a long sandy beach with full of dust . Over crowded and nothing special .water was also not very clear .I would not recommend for crazy travelers also bad for photography .

I booked for my parents for one night and that was my luck: only one night. I hope they were some unfortunate coincidences, because the choice was made precisely because of the good reviews. I won't go into details as long as the criticism can serve to improve.
