We arrived around 5 PM. The owner was incredibly kind; he waited for us even though we were stuck in traffic for ages, helping us with our luggage. The guesthouse was beautiful, the courtyard was incredibly photogenic, and the rooms were gorgeous with a panoramic view of the ancient city and snow-capped mountains—very soothing; I felt like I could spend all day just looking at it. Waking up in the morning and drawing the curtains was so cozy.
You can ask the owner anything you want to know. When we mentioned wanting to eat mushroom hotpot, he immediately contacted a restaurant and made reservations for us. After we dropped off our luggage, he personally led us to the restaurant. I must say, the restaurant he recommended was absolutely authentic—a huge thumbs up!
The guesthouse was cozy and fully equipped, with a washing machine, clothes rack, and everything else you need. The location was also fantastic; unlike some guesthouses in the ancient city where you have to walk a long way and the roads are narrow and difficult to navigate, this place is not only convenient but also right next to Wuyi Street. Basically, all the most bustling areas are nearby—I personally tested it, and it's a maximum of 12 minutes' walk. Everything for eating, drinking, and entertainment is concentrated in one place.
The owner was very kind and gave us fresh flower cakes. We could also chat and have tea with him whenever we wanted. If we wanted to buy some souvenirs, we could ask him for advice. He was very helpful and kind, just like an older brother. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay. The room was comfortable, the view was beautiful, and the location was convenient. We will definitely choose this place again next time!
