I booked the 270-degree view room. Overall, the experience was good. 小朱 assisted with most of our requests during our stay efficiently. The price was reasonable, and the location was great as it is close to the main district of Lijiang. The homestay arranges for someone to carry luggage up and down the hills using a cart, so you don’t need to worry about damaging your suitcase wheels. However, the steep hills may not be very elderly-friendly. I definitely loved the projector, as I could watch movies and dramas (provided by the homestay) in comfort.

We were very happy to stay at Jiu’er Guesthouse. The place is new and clean, and the courtyard is surrounded by flowers and greenery. There’s also an adorable giant poodle call Boss (“老板”) who kept us company, which created the perfect vibe for a relaxing vacation. The guesthouse is only a few minutes away from the Lijiang old town center and the north gate, yet it’s tucked away from the noise of the main street. Sally, who runs the place, has really provided an excellent service, she helped us with luggage transport and gave us lots of useful information. We truly enjoyed our stay here. We’ll definitely come back when we visit Lijiang again!

Had an amazing stay right here! The staff were so welcoming and friendly. Helpful as well. From picking us up from the Train Station to assisting us with our daily itineraries. We didn’t use Didi there as everything was arranged by them. Which made it easier for foreigners like us to travel around. They even helped us to order HALAL food. Just let them know (or show them the halal chinese logo) and they will come and help you. Hotel is spacious and clean! Love the automatic toilet bowl. For Muslims travellers, don’t worry, they have automatic toilet bowls that comes with in-build bidet. 👍🏼 Location of hotel is in LiJiang Ancient Town itself so it’s pretty convenient. Halal food is available about 10-15 mins walk. That’s all from us! Love love love this hotel! ❤️

The inn is located right in the center of Gucheng so sourcing for activities and food will not be difficult given the many varieties around. However the sound proofing of the rooms are a little poor and if you are situated on the room near the stairs at the 2nd floor, guests walking up the stairs can be easily heard. Overall, the stay was enjoyable and the hosts were very welcoming as well.

We arrived around 5 PM. The owner was incredibly kind; he waited for us even though we were stuck in traffic for ages, helping us with our luggage. The guesthouse was beautiful, the courtyard was incredibly photogenic, and the rooms were gorgeous with a panoramic view of the ancient city and snow-capped mountains—very soothing; I felt like I could spend all day just looking at it. Waking up in the morning and drawing the curtains was so cozy. You can ask the owner anything you want to know. When we mentioned wanting to eat mushroom hotpot, he immediately contacted a restaurant and made reservations for us. After we dropped off our luggage, he personally led us to the restaurant. I must say, the restaurant he recommended was absolutely authentic—a huge thumbs up! The guesthouse was cozy and fully equipped, with a washing machine, clothes rack, and everything else you need. The location was also fantastic; unlike some guesthouses in the ancient city where you have to walk a long way and the roads are narrow and difficult to navigate, this place is not only convenient but also right next to Wuyi Street. Basically, all the most bustling areas are nearby—I personally tested it, and it's a maximum of 12 minutes' walk. Everything for eating, drinking, and entertainment is concentrated in one place. The owner was very kind and gave us fresh flower cakes. We could also chat and have tea with him whenever we wanted. If we wanted to buy some souvenirs, we could ask him for advice. He was very helpful and kind, just like an older brother. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay. The room was comfortable, the view was beautiful, and the location was convenient. We will definitely choose this place again next time!

When we arrived at the parking lot, a young man came to help with our luggage, showing the warmth and hospitality of friends. The restaurant he recommended was also delicious. The overall environment was fantastic. The room was exquisitely decorated, with every detail reflecting the owner's care and taste. The bed was soft and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. Breakfast was served at a famous local rice noodle shop, which was delicious. The room was conveniently located in the heart of the old town, making it easy to explore. There was also a super cute and well-behaved little dog. I will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Lijiang.

It's just steps from the old town, making it very convenient for getting around. A very satisfying stay – highly recommended!

The owner is very welcoming and nice! The hotel is conveniently located with plenty of food options, and there's a street full of folk music bars right below! Very convenient! Parking is close to the guesthouse, but it costs 50 yuan per day!

We arrived at 10 PM, and the young man picked us up at the North Gate of the ancient city. He helped us with our luggage, and the owner even upgraded our room. Our clothes got soaked in the heavy rain while hiking, and he dried them overnight so we could wear them the next day. We happily went mushroom picking! A super positive experience, we'll definitely come again!

New, beautiful, modern, soft and comfortable bed linen. Close to the north exit of Lijiang Old Town, not far to drag luggage. The owner is very helpful and gives good advice on places to visit, car rentals, delicious and beautiful restaurants.

The overall accommodation environment was very comfortable, and there was an adorable dog in the courtyard. The room was also very comfortable. I highly recommend this cozy little courtyard; I'll definitely stay here again next time.
