Yishi Yunkuan Ancient City Panoramic Homestay (Lijiang Ancient City Dashuiche Branch)

Our first stop in Yunnan gave us a fantastic experience! The free airport pickup was super reliable. The driver contacted us in advance and was already waiting for us at the exit. The car was clean and tidy. Upon arriving at the Old Town entrance, staff were already there waiting. They transported our luggage by tricycle, and a staff member walked us to the guesthouse, introducing us to its facilities and offering travel tips along the way. The room was spacious and well-equipped. Both beds were huge, and the bathroom was also massive. It was very comfortable and roomy for two adults and two children. There was both underfloor heating and air conditioning, which was a real plus as Yunnan nights in winter can be quite chilly. The underfloor heating made it much cozier. From some angles on the second floor, the view overlooking the Old Town was excellent. The panoramic shot of the Old Town in the pictures was taken from there. Shifang Street, which is very lively, is just a short walk from the guesthouse. Mufu and the Grand Waterwheel are also within walking distance. It truly lives up to the saying, 'step out into bustling streets, return to peaceful serenity.' The afternoon tea every day was exquisite, especially the latte – I absolutely loved the delicate latte art! Breakfast was served until 11 AM, which was perfect for us 'lying flat' travelers. There are so many guesthouses in the Old Town, it was overwhelming choosing one, but I'm so glad we picked this one. Highly recommended! 👍

Facilities: Everything you could possibly need. Cleanliness: Spotlessly clean, inside and out. Environment: A guesthouse reminiscent of a hillside retreat, conveniently located right next to Sifang Street. Service: They offered pickup and drop-off at the ancient town entrance and even set up a WeChat service group in advance, which was excellent.

The hotel is not far from Sifang Street, making it very convenient for getting around. They also thoughtfully arrange airport pickup and train station drop-off services. There's a concierge group too, so you can ask the owner or the concierge any questions you have. The breakfast is delicious, with local chicken noodles and zhajiang noodles, both tasting great. The hotel's afternoon tea is also fantastic. The room amenities are excellent; the hairdryer is a Dyson, and there's floor heating and a humidifier, making it very comfortable. Our next stop was Baisha Ancient Town, and even though the owner couldn't drive us, he offered to reimburse our taxi fare, which was incredibly heartwarming. All in all, staying here feels just like home. If you come to Lijiang, you absolutely must stay here!

This is by far the best B&B I've ever stayed at, even compared to other tourist cities where I've only experienced self check-in. Here, they arranged a pick-up after I called in advance, and even created a service group. The staff are incredibly enthusiastic and always reply instantly. The front desk was also kind enough to help us with laundry. On top of all that, they upgraded me to a better room for free! Breakfast was extensive, and the coffee was delicious. I was very satisfied with the room. Next time my friends visit, I'll definitely recommend this place.
