The overall experience was amazing, and I definitely want to stay for more days if I get the chance! I'd call this the most beautiful InterContinental in China! You can experience the unique charm of Lijiang without even leaving the hotel. The hustle and bustle outside the Old Town feel like a completely different world from here! It's perfect for a relaxing vacation. The hotel's breakfast is incredibly rich and has everything you could wish for. The small pot rice noodles and the flower milk tea were my absolute favorites! The hotel boasts the most beautiful lobby, and on a clear day, the views of the snow-capped mountains are absolutely stunning! The hotel rooms are spread out in individual Naxi-style buildings, so walking around the hotel feels like strolling through a garden. If you order takeout, the hotel can even deliver it to your room, which is incredibly convenient. The hotel's location is also excellent; just step out the north gate and you're in Lijiang Old Town, which is super convenient. Next time I come to Lijiang, I will definitely choose to stay here again!

The room facilities haven't kept up with the times; there's no smart toilet, the TV is old, and the screen mirroring doesn't work well. However, the hotel's location is excellent. There's a small gate with card access to the ancient city, which is very safe and convenient. The overall service is consistent with a five-star hotel, and the pillow selection service is a nice touch. For breakfast, the pastries, small pot rice noodles, milk tea, and Erkuai (a local dish) were all quite distinctive. I purchased a package that included airport drop-off, which was convenient. The Tom Yum Gong set meal, though, was just so-so. Good service is what one expects from a five-star hotel, especially a big brand like InterContinental, as guests pay a considerable amount. So, I believe it's important to be objective in reviews and not let KPIs sway one's opinion.

The room was very clean and I loved the ambiance! The hotel's back entrance leads directly to the old town, which is super convenient! The hotel lobby truly lives up to its reputation as the most beautiful lobby, with stunning views of the snow-capped mountains. The lobby is absolutely beautiful, a perfect spot to sit and admire the snow-capped mountains. From the north gate, you can walk directly to the old town, or turn left to the Zhongyi Market for fresh fruits – super convenient. Our room was charmingly antique, a little peaked-roof cabin, and opening the window revealed a stunning garden view. Thanks to Tina and Yumi for the warm wishes; we'll definitely be back!

This hotel is perfectly located right at the entrance of Lijiang Old Town. The rooms are beautifully decorated, blending ancient and modern styles, making guests feel right at home. The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of delicious Chinese and Western dishes. A special shout-out to the staff, Tina, Nancy, and Simon He, who were incredibly warm, polite, and always ready to help with any questions. Thumbs up! I'd definitely stay here again if I ever return to Lijiang.

The thoughtful service provided by hotel managers Nero, Jack, Joey, and Coco, in particular, was incredibly detailed, making the entire trip warm and truly rejuvenating. A perfect rating isn't enough to express my satisfaction! The hotel's location is absolutely superb, situated right next to the south gate of Dayan Ancient Town. Your room key grants direct access to the ancient town, and you can even see Jade Dragon Snow Mountain from the lobby. The room quality perfectly matches InterContinental's high-end positioning – spacious and airy, with elegant and refined Naxi-style soft furnishings that feel brand new, not dated at all. Most importantly, I must give a massive shout-out to hotel manager Nero; his service is truly an industry benchmark! Upon check-in, Nero greeted us warmly and proactively. The process was efficient and smooth, and he maintained a patient, smiling demeanor throughout, immediately understanding our needs. Learning it was our first time in Lijiang, he thoughtfully recommended less-crowded, off-the-beaten-path routes. Considering potential altitude sickness, he proactively provided portable oxygen and warm water, and even delivered hot milk to our room in the evening – his meticulous care far exceeded expectations. During our stay, any request via WeChat was met with an instant reply and incredibly swift action: helping to rearrange the room layout, replenishing amenities, and even resolving the smallest requests with care. He proactively assisted with luggage, thoughtfully reminded us about weather changes and sightseeing tips. He was professional yet gentle, with absolutely no perfunctory attitude, truly making us feel at home and filling our foreign journey with warmth. Whether it's the hotel's hardware quality, the stunning garden views, or the incredibly attentive service, the InterContinental Lijiang Ancient Town Resort truly deserves its reputation as the best hotel in Lijiang.
