We had brown water fill up in our sink when we flushed the toilet that looked and smelled like sewage. We could not even get a partial refund due to prepaying through *******. Lesson learned. We will not be staying here again.

We really enjoyed the set up of this hotel. It was nice to be able to have a balcony looking down on the activities. The bed was extremely comfortable. There were a few minor things that I was not a fan of. For instance, the drain clogged during my husbands shower. He had to screw something back in to fix it in order to drain again. Also, the floor behind the bathroom door was dirty. The bathroom did not have an exhaust fan and it got extremely hot in there after my shower. The computer chair seat was worn out and ripped. The TV wasn’t set up. One of the side tables by the bed was unplugged so it took a bit to figure out why our phones weren’t charging. Some of the rooms have chairs on the balcony and some do not. Ours did not. Other than that, we really enjoyed the large lobby and the friendly service.

These are the friendliest people in town, hands down. The hotel has a nostalgic feel, but it's clean and well-maintained. Breakfast is getting more basic, but it's the service that makes this our number one choice in the area. Can't be beat, and we stayed in several others before finding this one.

Dirty, stained towels and hair in bathtub. Garbage pieces all over the balcony ledges. People in bare feet at the breakfast buffet, and not very good choices of food.
