Horrible musty moldy smell.I was unable to stay for fear of getting a respitory infection. They refused to refund any of my 3 day prepaid payment. Extremely disappointing. They should have refunded at least two of the three days I paid for in advance.

Nice hotel, with lot of character. A little gem, that give you a sensation of going back to the past. Nice decoration, full of antiques and a nice bar. Good coffee at breakfast. The staff speak english, so they give me plenty of recomendations.Thank you for everything.

Nice cozy hotel, with a good location. An old mansion, renovated, with lot of love. The owner is an antique collector, he told me, the hotel had been opened for almost ten years. The place is a different concept, comparing to other hotels i had stayed before. Thank you for everything.

I enjoyed my stay, in this boutique hotel. Nice staff, always willing to help you. The hotel is located in the bohemian Barranco district. Barranco have many restaurants, interesting bars and museums. If travellers are looking, for a different esperience with lot of character, this is the correct place to stay.

Charming, eclectic and somewhat eccentric - both the hotel and the people! Though both equally wonderful!! The staff themselves describe the hotel as 25% hotel, 50% museum (and 25% "ghost house")..... And it's testimony to the multitude of antiques, artworks and artefacts in every nook and cranny. Huge beds. Beautiful clean rooms. Very modern bathroom (with the best shower we had in Peru!). And the service was excellent, friendly and genuinely personal. Location is very central to the heart of Barranco.

Increible staff. Large room. I Will come back. Nice bar and good location. Lovely atmosphere. I felt líke home. The hotel Is very peculiar, with lot of character and antiques everywhere. If you like different Hotels, with history, this Is your place. Best regards. Fernando

I feel compelled to warn future travelers about my experience at Casa Farelli in Lima. Unfortunately, my stay was far from pleasant. The photos posted on booking sites do not reflect the reality of the place. The house is completely neglected, with a noticeable lack of maintenance. Upon arrival, I found a very dirty environment with an unpleasant odor, making it difficult to relax or feel comfortable. The overall impression was one of neglect and lack of attention to detail. I must acknowledge that the hotel staff were kind and took the time to explain that the house is old. However, I believe this does not excuse the evident deterioration and lack of cleanliness. While the reservation was not made under my name but under a family member’s, I still feel it’s important to share this experience. I consider the state of Casa Farelli to be well below acceptable, especially considering the price paid. I recommend that other travelers look for alternative options in Lima to avoid a bad experience and the loss of money.

Dirty, dusty, moldy, rundown, pictures show a false impression. Stairs, floors, furniture, old, dirty. Beds stained, smelly. We were told because of humidity. Not true. We couldnt return on our two days left. Stay else where and that place was clean and no problem with humidity. This is no 3 star place maybe 1. It needs serious remodel.
