The hotel was very rundown. The carpet was extremely dirty. There was tape on the ceilings and walls. The towels looked ratty and old and were falling apart. When we used the AC, it was blowing warm air and filled the room with burning electricity smell. We made it one night before we had to leave.

My work brings me to Lincoln New Hampshire on a regular basis, and the Franconia Notch motel is my preferred choice. Always polite check-in, clean rooms every time, and their rates are consistently reasonable.

The bed was ok, sheet and towels were clean. The walls were stained, the bath tub was stained and did not look clean. The smell was so bad we actually left early. It seemed like a chemical smell to cover up a mildew problem. Needless to say we won't be going back.

No frills accommodation, definitely worth the price. Clean room great staff in the office in an overall great location.

The room was not clean, mildew and scum in bathtub. Hair around sink.Mirrors never cleaned covered in spots .
Friends room had many things wrong upon arrival. Location is nice and if you want to have a spot where nobody bothers you. Changed towels daily which was nice but came into room when you were gone.
Definitely need some new house keepers.

I really liked the one bedroom cabin. It was nice to have a living room to relax in after a long hike.
It could definitely use some updates to the furniture as it was pretty worn looking.

Was pleasantly surprised with house nice the room was. Enjoyed the nice river in back of motel! Close to Clark's trading post!
