Linhai Tower Shadow Moon House Courtyard (Taizhou Fucheng Branch, Ziyang Street)

This hotel is nestled right in the ancient town. The rooms are spotlessly clean, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The hotel boasts beautiful surroundings, and from the terrace, guests can enjoy stunning views of the ancient pagoda and the charming nightscape of the old town. The friendly lady owner at the front desk provided exceptional service; she was incredibly attentive and quickly resolved any issues or requests we had. She even prepared *caohuang* (a local traditional herbal dessert) for breakfast in the mornings. Cannot recommend this place highly enough!

Upon arrival, the AC was already on and drinks were offered – a very thoughtful touch. The location is excellent, making it very convenient for finding food. The guesthouse's small courtyard was quite pleasant. Disposable bath towels were provided, which was very hygienic. However, the immediate surroundings were quite poor. Within 50 meters on both sides, there was a public restroom, and our room window directly faced a waste collection site. From around 4 AM, garbage trucks would arrive for collection, creating an incredibly loud noise. Another collector would come at 6 or 7 AM, which was quite annoying. While this isn't the guesthouse's fault, it reflects poorly on the surrounding area. Around 3-4 AM, the air conditioner in the inner room started leaking, causing my friend to lose sleep for the rest of the night. We reported it to the owner, who responded promptly, stating that repairs were already arranged and offering a 100 RMB refund as compensation.

We booked 5 rooms for two nights, and everyone in our group was extremely happy with our stay. It's especially ideal for several families traveling together, offering a courtyard, a terrace, and even a common room. It's perfect for relaxing with tea and a chat, playing cards, or even dancing. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the bathrooms were great too. All my friends said they would definitely want to stay here again. The location is excellent, quite close to the pedestrian street, which allowed us to indulge in all the local glutinous delicacies this time. The parking area is a few minutes' walk from the hotel, but the owner kindly guided us there. What's more, they offer complimentary, free-flowing herbal jelly drink made in-house, and most importantly, it tastes fantastic! Highly recommended!!

The hotel boasts an excellent location. It's a direct taxi ride from Linhai Station, followed by just a 3-minute walk. Ziyang Street is also very close by. For breakfast, there are plenty of delicious and affordable local eateries nearby, popular with locals. The wonderful owner was incredibly welcoming and even gave us a complimentary upgrade to a king room. Our room was quiet, and the traditional courtyard offers lovely spots to relax, whether you want to enjoy tea, use the swing, or play cards. The bathrooms are all equipped with smart facilities. Even on a rainy day, having access to washing machines and dryers was incredibly convenient. I highly recommend this place to friends and would definitely stay again.

The room was very clean, and the shower had excellent water pressure. The washing machine and dryer were a huge plus, especially useful during the rainy season. Given its old town location with many one-way streets, finding the place was a bit challenging. However, the hotel staff were incredibly helpful; they even guided us to parking in an electric cart. It's ideally located very close to Ziyang Street and Longxing Temple, perfect for early risers wanting to explore the city walls.

Located in a quiet alley, the hotel is perfectly situated. Just outside, you'll find the lively Chicheng Road Pedestrian Street and Ziyang Ancient Street. Xingshan Gate is a mere 10-minute walk away, and Lansheng Gate (with Donghu Lake directly opposite) is less than a 10-minute bike ride. This makes exploring the ancient streets, city walls, and Donghu Lake incredibly convenient. The lady at the front desk was exceptionally warm and friendly, like a big sister. She even upgraded me to a king-size bed and offered a complimentary local specialty drink upon arrival, truly making me feel at home. The common areas are also very tastefully decorated and comfortable. From the second-floor terrace, you can even catch a glimpse of Wenfeng Pagoda in the Longxing Temple area near Xingshan Gate. My room was very clean. It seems the hotel only opened last year, so all the facilities are quite new. Overall, I had a very pleasant and comfortable stay.
