It was my first time visiting the scenic area, and after looking around, I chose this hotel. The experience definitely earned its high rating.
The main reason was the owner was so nice. He picked us up and dropped us off, helped with our luggage, and even prepared a large bowl of fruit for us in our room, which we couldn't finish. We had time to rest at the hotel before our train, and the owner was very welcoming. He even dropped us off and told us how to get to the bus.
The hotel environment and cleanliness were generally quite clean, and I didn't find any issues.
If you take a taxi to the scenic area entrance, you need to buy a ticket and then take the shuttle bus to the terminal. The owner doesn't drive you.

The B&B is at the highest point in the village, with an unbeatable view outside the window, basically overlooking the Dong village. The owner is very nice and will pick us up directly at the door of the B&B. He also made dumplings for us on New Year's Eve. The room is very new and very comfortable to live in. The most satisfying thing is the beautiful view outside the window, especially during the New Year's Eve, when you can directly see the fireworks of the village from the window 🎆

GGuest UserWonderful hotel right in the center of Zhaoxing with an amazing view on the entire village and the surroundings. The hotel seems newly renovated, everything was beautiful and clean. Unfortunately, because of the heavy rains in the days preceding our stay, the water in the swimming pool caught some algae and they had to take it out, clean the pool, and refill it again, which is why we couldn't make use of it during our stay (we only stayed for two days). That was a bit unfortunate as the entire swimmingpool area is incredibly beautiful and with the summer heat it would have been nice to do a swim after the hikes. But all the rest was absolutely wonderful. We actually stayed there on the day of my birthday and the hotel organized a wonderful birthday cake for me and even decorated the room. It was amazing and I would like to thank the staff again for their kindness. Our arrangement included the afternoon tea and the breakfast, both of them delicious and generous. Breakfast included the typical Chinese soups, rice, etc. while also offering Western style bread, marmelade, butter and lots of fruits. What merits a special mention is the outdoor bath tub directly on the balcony. Every evening they prepared the bath tub with special bathing oils and taking a bath right before going to sleep on our outdoor terrace was a sheer delight! We will remember it as a very special place, with incredibly nice and kind people. Thank you for having made this stay so special for us!

GGuest UserGreat B&B. They added WeChat in advance to introduce the pick-up service. After we arrived, there were brothers and sisters to help with the luggage. Although the B&B is located at the end of the village, it is not far to walk. It also has the advantage of being at the end of the village, that is, it is very quiet at night and very close to the bus stop to Tang'an Terraces. The facilities, hygiene and breakfast of the B&B are very good. The scenery outside the window is beautiful. There is a large farmland outside the window. The children are very happy playing in the field. Overall, it is a very good experience.

Breakfast was amazing. Prepared lovingly by a local lady with guilin noodles, yoghurt and fruit.
Service was excellent. Attended to our needs promptly without any delay.
Location is amazing smacked right in the middle of the main busy street.

MM415752****The location of the B&B is very good, the facilities are clean and complete, and there is a projector and a small refrigerator inside. I chose this place mainly for the scenery. The view of the countryside outside the window is very good, and you can have breakfast by the field in the morning. The service of the boss and the boss lady is also very good. After arriving at the entrance of the village, the boss will drive to pick you up. There were not many people on the day of check-in, and I was upgraded to a deluxe room. Overall, the experience of staying here is still very good.

GGuest UserB&Bs are all on stilts, and the wooden houses are not well insulated, so I just randomly booked this one. If you have trouble sleeping, you can choose to stay in a higher room or live outside the Dong Village. We live on the fourth floor. As soon as we entered the door of the B&B, the grandma who embroidered the sachets said to me ”Here we come” and it made me feel very warm. The boss will also pick us up at the entrance of Dong Village and help us carry our luggage. The landlady will wash and lay out the sheets and help us carry our luggage upstairs. He also asked us to walk softly, be quiet and respect each other. The room has plenty of hot water and the air conditioner is new. The location in the middle of the village is very lively. I thought it would be noisy when there was a bar singing at night, but it was okay. It's just that the height of the toilet room is low, and the roof leaks a little when it rains all the time. Before I left, I told the boss lady and she apologized to me🤦♀️ At night I only heard the sound of rain and the sounds of cats and roosters. When I woke up in the morning and opened the window, I saw rain hitting the tiles, and a kitten came to say hello. It feels like a family house. We are very careful when staying in it and even help to clean it up when leaving. I casually booked a B&B for a hundred yuan, and it turned out to be the most cost-effective B&B I’ve ever stayed in in Guizhou.

GGuest UserThe location is very good, it's quiet in the middle of the hustle and bustle. If you don't like the noisy environment, you can choose this place. You don't have to worry about the smell of barbecue at night. The best thing is that the owner of the B&B picks you up from the high-speed rail station and helps with luggage. The lady owner is very enthusiastic. Highly recommended!

GGuest UserThe trip to Zhaoxing Dongzhai surprised me the most was the homestay I stayed in! From the moment I stepped into the door, I felt full of warmth. The boss is super talkative, warm and caring. He not only recommended authentic Dai food to us, but also helped plan the surrounding play routes, so there is no need to worry about stepping on thunder.
The environment of the homestay is also very good, the room is clean and tidy, the wooden structure decoration is full of Yi style, there are many foods downstairs, you can breathe fresh air by opening the window in the morning, it is too healing! What makes me most happy is that there are many kittens here, and the character is docile and not afraid of life. Every day, it will come back and ask for touch.
Sitting in the living room at night, drinking tea and chatting, listening to the insects in the distance, I feel that the whole person has relaxed. The boss also talked a lot of stories about Dongzhai, as kind as friends.
If you come to Zhaoxing Dongzhai, you must live here! The environment is comfortable, the boss is nice, and there are cute cats as companions.

BBERNARD SCHACKISI came many times in this hotel, his location near the gate and beside the park is very quiet. No noise, no car. The staff don’t speak English but is really helpful and friendly. Hotel can provide tickets for the attractions at lower price, just ask them. Also they will tell you the best places to visit in the village. Breakfast is only local noddles but I found them delicious. Of course, if you have car, you need to park at the gate of the village and take a shuttle bus. This is mandatory. No tourist cars in the village. Hundred of restaurants in the village, so no problem for this.

Many tourists come to the B&B to check in the building, proving that the aesthetics satisfy most people. However, the location is far from the village gate. If you check in with a suitcase, you may need to spend some effort.
Facilities: The owner of the B&B graduated from Sichuan Fine Arts Institute. There are clothing and ceramic works for sale in a separate space, which is also an option for shopping.
Service: Breakfast self-service is provided, which is a plus point among B&Bs of the same price. After all, there was no price increase during the May Day holiday, while other prices doubled.

AAnonymous UserIt was not bad when I checked in. At first glance, I felt that it was not bad, it was an old house. The problem came when I went up the stairs. The carpet should be tattered and dirty as if it hadn't been cleaned. The first sight of entering the room is okay, close the window and turn on the air conditioner, and found that the window and the surrounding area are full of spider webs and insects. Pull the curtains, suddenly a spider 🕷️ that has been slapping the size of a palm jumped onto the bed, it scared me! Immediately ask the front desk to arrange a replacement. The lady at the front desk is okay, but the cleaning lady waited for half an hour and didn't come to change it! There is a chandelier with cobwebs on the top of the bed, I was afraid it would fall... I didn't know there was a bar nearby when I ordered it, and the singing kept ringing all night. Couldn't sleep at all this night. Thinking about returning the next day, let’s just pass by in one night... I will definitely not come again next time! !
Facilities: average, the TV cannot be watched, and the batteries of the remote control are moldy. When the air conditioner is turned on, it will spray water.
Hygiene: the floor is dusty, with insects and cobwebs.
Environment: Surrounded by bars, it is still very lively at 12 o'clock in the evening, singing is flying all over the sky.
