We visited in August and were pleasantly surprised! The location is excellent—just a 3-minute walk from the charming village center (Chora) and only 10 minutes from the port on foot. The rooms were spotlessly clean, with daily housekeeping, which is something I really value. Spacious and comfortable, they also offered a breathtaking view that made our stay even more enjoyable. Breakfast was delicious and varied every day, served buffet-style with handmade local delicacies like fresh pies and eggs. Everything was made with care and tasted amazing. The owner, Irini, was incredibly friendly and welcoming. She gave us great tips on the best tavernas and beaches to explore, which made our trip even more memorable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing and authentic stay in Astypalea!

Exceptional accommodation with stunning views of the chora and the surrounding sea. Clean and nicely designed rooms, including a comfortable bed and a cozy balcony.
Very friendly hosts, they even went out of their way and prepared us (vegetarians) a meat free dish for breakfast! We highly recommend this place!

We highly recommend the Andromeda. It was the perfect location in Chora with a beautiful view, just a five minute walk to the shops in town. The room was lovely and clean. Our host was fantastic: she picked us up from the airport, provided excellent recommendations, made sure our room was always cleaned and stocked, and provided the most wonderful homemade breakfast each morning. She made the stay so special. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Everyone should stay here!

The previous reviews say it all. This is a fabulous place to stay - great hospitality, great views, clean and spacious room with kitchen and balcony, great breakfast. I loved it. The location is perfect as you can walk down stairs to Chora and then the port.

It’s the fifth time we visit Andromeda resort and we will keep coming back. This hotel is a real gem in the island of Astipalia. We always take the same room with a beautiful view over the town and the castle. The room is always spotless clean, with a window right in front of the bed, which allows the nice breeze to come in every night, no need to turn on the AC at all. The bed has a very comfortable mattress. The amenities are amazing with everything that someone needs to be comfortable. The breakfast is a state of the art, every day something special prepared by the cook, with fresh Greek yogurt, lots of fruits, local Greek products, honey, and every day freshly made omelette. But above all we keep coming back because of the friendly and welcoming atmosphere of the owner and the staff, who welcome us back us family. I can’t say enough to recommend this place for your summer holidays.

The room was extremely cozy. We loved having a charming balcony with a breathtaking view of Chora; it was like a dream to sit outside and gaze at the castle and sunrise. Our host, Rena, was exceptional. She met us at the port, offered advice on the island's best beaches, helped us arrange a car rental, and was always on hand. The breakfast was delicious, with a wide range of options that varied daily, including cheese pies, cakes, omelets, Greek delicacies, and more. Having such a wonderful host made the experience so special… when we left she gave us a gift: local honey and local sea salt! Thank you Rena! I will definitely be back at Andromeda Resort next time I come to Astypalaia.

I would highly recommend staying at this beautiful and well maintained resort. A stunning view of the Caste from the balcony is the icing on the cake. Irini looks after her guests in a pleasant manner and makes the stay as smooth and relaxed as possible.

This is a magnificent establishment ran by a fantastic lady (Mrs Rena) and her family. The view from the room was absolutely breathtaking, the room was elegant and comfortable, daily cleaned by a staff of excellent ladies, the breakfast was homemade and changing every day. One of the best stays we had ever in Greece! If we go again to Astypalaia, we will definitely stay in Andromeda. Thank you Mrs Rena!
