I'm coming up on the end of my stay (around 2 weeks). The hotel isn't right on the freeway, but it's very close and easy to get to/from. The weather ranged from hot to cool, which gave me the opportunity to explore the range of the in-room a/c. The heater didn't heat. The fan blew, but the air wasn't getting warm, although the a/c worked perfectly when set to cool. The room service phone number never worked. The phone has a speed-dial button for room service, or you can dial 720, but no matter how you call it it always goes to a busy signal. I called the front desk to see if the number was changed, and they relayed my order to the restaurant. The next time I tried getting room service, I again had to dial the front desk. This time I was transferred to the room service number (even though I mentioned that the number wasn't working), which of course didn't work. I gave up on room service for the rest of my stay. The bed was comfortable, but the pillows were the type that go flat as soon as you lay your head down. I just pulled a pillow out of the pillowcase and the tag says the filling is 87% duck feathers and 13% down. I might have been able to ask for a hypo-allergenic pillow, but I didn't. Speaking of feathers, several days during my stay I noticed small feathers on the bathroom sink. After the second day I checked out the vent over the sink and it looks like that's the source. I'm guessing that somewhere up that duct there's an opening with a bird nest nearby.
