Stayed here many times . Great location , great decor . Bar staff truly awful . “Vending machine” for crisps that didn’t work . Really poor service in a great hotel

Great hotel but for £200 plus a night I’d expect breakfast rather than paying an extra £22 per person per day

Service was actually ok apart from checking in where David was so bad it was embarrassing for him. Rude aloof and passive aggressive. After a week before where the hotel offered a possible upgrade we ended up in a sad state disabled room. Very poor quality and now worth £200 a night. And in Hasten to add not even for for purposes to a disable person.
David even failed to get our credit card added to our room to pay for drinks. And as I’d already paid Also took the entire charge again on checking in. Is he on the fiddle ?
Staff in the morning were delightful. Asia partially apologetic and progressional and helpful.
The room and bath need an upgrade as u will see from the photos - room 204 . Very poor and disappointing.
Cracked tiles on floor and wardrobe doors don’t close. Bath stains old and in need of replacing

The lighting in the shower is terrible cannot see the controls. Overall lighting around hotel and in the rooms is not good for reading, especially if you have eyesight problems. Made the stay hard work.
