Best Western Detroit Livonia

Hotel was very decent and clean. Great amenities and a clean pool. Price was good for the room I got.

Great price, but you get what you pay for. Stains on head board, and furniture. Peeling paint, repairs needed to walls. Bathroom tub had stains and rust. Overall room felt outdated and dirty.

The bathrooms were not cleaned fully. Hair in the tub and on the floor that was not mine. I asked for an extra blanket and was told they had none in the entire place. Keep in mind I passed on room cleaning so not sure how they planned to change my bedding. Half the work out equipment does not work. The juice machine for breakfast did not work. The waffles were rocks. The milk was in a pitcher left uncovered in a mini fridge. There was a horrible smell of very strong air freshener to cover up whatever. The beds are hard and you can feel the springs in them. You can tell they don't fully vaccuum the rooms as they had dust and dirt all in the corners. Walkways were not shoveled or salted and when you step through the doors the floor was extremely slippery with no signs or anything put out. Its a lawsuit waiting to happen. I would not recommend....pay the extra $50 or whatever to stay somewhere else....its worth it I wish I had!

I had a good experience with this hotel best western! Family, friendly, clean, Everything was up to standard! I love the pool 6 feet, the breakfast was good and we love the Jacuzzi room! Thank you. I’ll look forward to my next Stay!!! P.s Andy was really nice and very helpful! Thank you, Andy!!

Every time we go to the Best Western the staff really takes care of us especially the day shift manager

There was fece in the toilet. The bathroom smelled like cigarette smoke. The stink was terrible

Staff were great. Check in was easy. Breakfast was a good variety. Coffee was 24 hours. Yay!! Pool was nice and large and was not busy. Overall hotel was a little worn and the heater was touchy, but the staff made up for it. They were fabulous. I would stay again.

When I checked in i was told i couldn't pay my deposit with cash. So it kind of messed it up but i didnt let it stop me from checking in. I get to the room which was all the way at the end of the hall to the right down at the end of another hall on the second floor and i noticed a change when i went to the bathroom it wasn't a tub. I called to the front asking for a tub telling me they was sold out for the tub room it was still the small tub available i can see it. I go all the way back downstairs to see the rooms and decide to get the jacuzzi room. Then she tells me since its threw booking site i had to contact them. So I did that and they requested a free upgrade for the inconvenience but the hotel didnt want to do the free upgrade so I had to pay the difference which was another 60.77 that's with tax included.. So the next morning the hotel charges my card again for 18.24. I go see about the charge and they trying to tell me is the tax on the difference remind you the 60.77, tax on that is not 18.24 the room was 162. nd some change.. She added tax total was 179.01 so tax was added... I was explaining this to the female at the front and she kept saying it was just the tax and im like i did all that and she wasnt listening to what i was actually explaining to her about the card i used and it shouldnt be another charge on my account when i paid everything that was needed plus the deposit.. If my room is 179.01plus 100 deposit please explain where the extra 18.24 come from.
