We stayed at this hotel as part of a comprehensive booking on a walking holiday. We were in a lovely self contained cottage at bottom of property. Linda gave us great home cooked food and good information about the walks we were taking. Would certainly stay here again!

We had a perfect stay here. Linda is an amazing host and could not do enough to make our trip memorable. The hotel is lovely with beautiful views over the mountains There is a lovely garden, pool and hot tub. We had a great family dinner in the restaurant which was delicious and very good value at just 22 euro for three courses. We will definitely return.

We stayed at this charming hotel for 3 nights as part of a hiking trip we took in the Apennines. It was fantastic. Linda, the innkeeper, speaks excellent English and was beyond helpful in helping us plan hikes and stay comfortable when we came back to the hotel. The food here is excellent, including the dinner, which we ate twice! Breakfasts were versatile and tasty. This is a clean hotel, close to the small shops in town. Even the folks in town were friendly and welcoming. We give our highest praise to Hotel il Fondaccio.

We stayed here as part of our Inn Travel tour. Clean and spacious rooms, excellent meals and especial thanks for catering for my dairy intolerance. Wonderful packed lunches. A real treat to come back to the hotel and swim in the pool-with-a-view. Thankyou.

A very cosy family run hotel. Quiet and very clean. Nice pool area and a wonderful view to the Hills both from the restaurant and from the patio. A good location for hiking holiday. The Food was very tasty - homemade - and with a Nice buffet with vegetables. Very reccomendable in a small and charming village.

Hotel il Fondaccio is a small gem in the Bolognese Appenine. Family owned for over 100 years, the owners are welcoming, kind, and offer simple but fine rooms in a setting overlooking a magnificent forested valley. This is the kind of place one dreams of finding, but rarely does: a simple family run spot that manages to deliver on nearly every level. There is a lovely pool open in summer. And the kitchen, run by the patriarch of the family, offers the best cooking I’ve ever eaten at a pensione. Anyone staying who does not opt for half board is making a mistake. The meals are extraordinary, using the freshest ingredients and cooked with love. I am longing to go back for another dinner at Il Fondaccio. Thank you to lovely Linda and her family. We will return! Abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel per una fuga sulle piste da sci il week end della befana. Purtroppo il tempo non ha aiutato per quanto riguarda la parte sulla neve. Personale molto gentile, la camera era ampia e pulita. La sera c’è l’opportunità di cenare all’hotel ad un prezzo veramente conveniente e con buon cibo. Colazione abbondante e per tutti i gusti. La mattina della partenza, dato che dovevamo partire presto e nn era ancora possibile fare colazione, ci sono state lasciate in reception torte e succo solo per noi. Consiglio vivamente. Prezzo più che onesto.

Ambiente molto pulito. Una bella camera con una magnifica vista. Personale della reception molto cortese e professionale, anche disponibile per indicazioni sulla zona e sugli itinerari da percorrere. Ampia scelta sia dolce che salato per la colazione a buffet.

Siamo stati in questo hotel per qualche giorno di vacanza in collina lo abbiamo scelto per la presenza della piscina ma poi il meteo non è stato favorevole. Tutto perfetto la stanza piccola ma curata e pulitissima completa di tutto il necessario la volazione molto ben curata con torte fatte in casa e marmellate buonissime le ragazze sempre attente e gentili. La titolare di una squisitezza unica ci ha anche consigliato sulle camminate e i sentieri da percorrere. Insomma molto consigliato .
