A very lackluster welcome, handed us our key card with a mention of the room number. What is it with the key cards because they are very hit and miss, can sometimes take up to five attempts before the door unlocks. Up to the room which was on the second floor, some dirty stains on the stair carpet, which doesn't give a good impression. After two attempts with the key card we gained access to our room. The room was clean and the desk fan running, the usual tea coffee etc, nice to see they have a new coffee brand, the baristas choice coffee was awful. I just feel this hotel is slowly declining from what it used to be, it used to be a three star but now it's a two. It would be nice to see this as a three star again. And sort the dodgy key cards out.
