It was a 2 night stay for a birthday. We were so impressed with everything at the Vale resort. The staff were friendly and helpful, the facilities were excellent and the room was very nice. One of my favourite hotels I’ve stayed at

How is this a 4-star resort?! The golf course is lovely but the hotel is in very poor shape. Carpets are stained, walls - scratched up and pockmarked with holes, furniture appears to be from 1980. The rooms are so rundown and shabby; you are not given a luggage rack or washcloths or a minifridge or any comfort. The food in the restaurant is good but the place has all the charm of an airport waiting area. We were extremely disappointed in the condition of the hotel and the available amenities. I have stayed at Motel 8s with more character…

Overall nice hotel but noisy!
Overall it was a nice hotel and nice resort. The room was large and very clean.
Our only issue was we were on the ground floor even though we were not part of the events. Due to being a popular wedding venue there was a wedding each day.
The corridors were loud until 3-4am each day. We struggled to sleep most evenings. We recommend, if you are going to stay request for a room away from wedding guests.
