Some electricity is surface run and homes in this area are not wired with grounded outlets.NOISE: Casita Estrella is located in the vibrant center of town where there can be much activity. Neighbors have chickens, dogs and roosters. It is next to the local Catholic Church and the bells are loud. Once or twice a week, there is a "Rooster Mass," as the locals joke, meaning the church bells are rung at 6:30am in time with the local roosters crowing. Also, the house is off a square used for basketball and soccer play, so games go on a few nights a week. We love hearing the locals (adults and children) playing sports, like having a live sports feed. There can be a game playing or a bouncing basketball until 11pm at night. Basketball and soccer ball provided.
