Restaurant was wonderful and so convenient to lodging; quiet; staff was friendly and helpful; we ate breakfast and dinner every day and all meals were delicious. Hubby said margaritas were excellent.
We stayed in cabin 8 and everything was clean and comfortable; the only minor suggestion I have is to put a reading lamp with a larger bulb next to reading chair! Dusting the interior logs annually would also be a good idea. Bathroom was spotless!

The lodge is comfortable and great food at the restaurant. WiFi only in the lodge not the rooms. Comfortable beds. Beautiful surroundings. We had a rustic cabin with shared bathrooms and the bathrooms were very clean and fresh smelling.

On Sunday afternoon, even though restaurant had only 2 tables sat and deck had 3 tables sat, our party of 3 had to wait over 30 minutes to get a table to relax and have a drink. It's hard to relax over a drink, which is why we were there, when you have to wait in a lobby area for 30+ minutes for a mostly empty restaurant and deck.

I love the setting of Lochsa Lodge, and have stopped by, and occasionally stayed overnight. I have eaten there many times. I feel the current menu is trying to be too trendy, and food quality has suffered. This is Idaho, rural territory, not Seattle.

Lochsa Lodge is a place to stay if you’re looking for a peaceful serene getaway! The mountain setting is beautiful. Our cabin was comfortable, clean & quiet. The The staff was very friendly & helpful.
